The Big Change

The Thundermans

I stand in front of the door of a big house, I look over at Lily and Captain man. Both of them brought me to Hiddenvile.

"Are sure about this?" Lily asks, I nod
"It's the savest thing to do so I won't hurt you or anyone else! And don't worry I'll come back in 3 months and we can go further with the program"   Captain man then rings the doorbell, I take a few steps back when the door opens. There are 7 people standing in front of me all wearing supersuits but no mask.

"You must be Sophie" the woman says smiling at me. I asume she is the mother. I nod giving a quiet answer to her question. "Come in" she then says. I nervously look at Lily and captain man who both nod. I was about to grab my bags that I brought with me when the oldest man of the household offered me to help.

"Don't worry I got it" I say taking the 3 bags in the house.
"Well you didn't lie when you told us about her being strong" the man says talking to captain man. I look around the room, it looked really cosy.

"Come on I will show you your room!"   A girl said to me, she looked around 2 years older than me and was obviously the oldest child.
"I'm Phoebe by the way, you're Sophie right?" Ones again I only nod. I wasn't quit in the mood to talk.
"Don't worry you'll get your powers under control really soon, I can feel it! Maybe you can even become a superhero!" She says excited.
I don't even know if I want to become a superhero, I mean I already have the costume but maybe I'm not the right person for this superhero stuff.

"And this is your new room" Phoebe says, I look up I wasn't really listening to what she was saying. "It is actually my old room, but don't worry I moved out like 2 months ago" She continious, I then realise.
"But who will be teaching me your powers?" I ask wondering how I ever will control freeze and heat breath.
"Don't worry Max will teach you all about our powers" I look confused at her, who is Max? Phoebe seemed to see my confusion and quickly says.
"Max is my twin brother, he has all the same powers as me." I nod, Max must be the tall boy who stood next to her. "I'll let you unpack" Phoebe says while walking out of the room.

I sigh, this is all going way to fast. I tried to open my bag but accidentally break the zipper. Damn it. I curse at myself, I try to open my second bag more careful this time, and then my third. Most of the bags are filled with my clothes, I grab some shirts of mine and head over to what I think is the closet. But instead of walking I start speed running. I ran face first into the wall falling on my butt afterwards, I luckily didn't break the wall with my superstrength. I feel my forehead, but there is no blood there I then remember that I'm indestructable now. I get so frustrated by everything that I grab a pillow lying on the bed and start screaming in it. Realizing shortly afterwards that it's now on fire, I start shaking with it like crazy trying to stop the fire, but I only make it worse. I try using my freeze breath, but I don't know how to change between heat and freeze breath yet and so I used my heat breath again. I started screaming and soon after Phoebe and the rest of the family come rushing in my room. Phoebe quickly used her freeze breath and stopped the fire. I dropped the pillow and sat on my bed, sighing ones again about everything that happened.

"Are you okay?" She asks sitting next to me. I nod.
"When are we starting training, I really hate not being able to control my powers and I really wanna prevent completly destroying the house" I say still looking at that stupid pillow that was now burned and frozen. "Tomorrow we'll start with heat and freeze breath so we can prevent the same situation from happening" the dad said to me.
"Can we also train lightning? I already hurted someone with it and I also don't want that to happen again."
"Sure" he says before leaving the room, everyone does the same, exept Phoebe, she offert to help me unpack. And I agreed before anything else went wrong.

I went back downstairs where Lily and Captain man were. When they heard me come down they both stood up from the couch walking towards the stairs. "It's time for us to go" Lily says and I pull her into a big hug trying not to hurt her. I than turn to Captain Man, "thanks" I say while looking down. I still didn't feel comfortable around him, I don't know why, maybe because he was hiding who he really was. Captain man nods and he walks back to the door together with Lily.

"Well it was nice seeing you again Captain man!" The dad says
"And its nice knowing you're not dead" captain man replies, we all give him a weird look and then shook it of.
Lily and Captain man leave the house, while waving goodbye, I sat on the couch. This is my life now. And for the last time that day I sigh.
