Beep Beep Beep.

Ethan groans loudly as his alarm goes off. He rolls over and slams his hand down, silencing it. Unlike most people, he preferred a normal alarm clock over his phone's alarm, he couldn't slam a hand down on that. He stays in his bed for a couple more minutes before groaning, again, and standing up. He stretches and yawns, he hadn't been asleep but four hours or so and he was exhausted.

He rubs his eyes, walking into his bathroom and shutting the door. He had been up almost all of last night writing, something he often did but always regretted. He wrote poetry, books and music but he would never admit to it, he thought writing was lame and people would make fun of him for it.

He sigh and turns on his shower, rubbing his eyes and holding in another yawn. "Today is gonna be hell." He says sleepily, his voice a little deeper than normal. He strips down and checks the water, stepping in after. The scalding water washes over his body, relaxing his muscles.

He stands under the relaxing spray for a couple minutes before shampooing and conditioning his hair. His hair came down past his ears so he preferred to condition it, keep it nice and soft. He knew it was kinda weird for a guy to condition his hair but he didn't really care too much. He finishes his hair and washes his body quickly, needing to get ready so he wasn't late, again.

He jumps out of the shower and walks out of his bathroom and into his closet, looking through his clothes. He had a fairly big walk in closet, filled to the brim with hoodies, skinny jeans, band and graphic tees and Converse. He picks out some boxers, a pair of dark purple skinny jeans, a black muscle shirt, a black Sleeping With Sirens hoodie and a dark purple beanie. He quickly gets dressed and walks out of his room, grabbing a pair of black Converse and his messenger bag.

He slings his bag across his chest and walks downstairs, walking into the kitchen and grabbing a Wildberry Pop Tart. "Ethan?' His mother calls out from the living room. He pokes his head in and sighs, seeing three empty bottles of beer and an empty wine bottle. "Yeah, it's me. I'm heading to school." He says looking at his mother who was laying down on the couch with a damp cloth over her eyes; she had a hangover. He shakes his head and walks out of the house as fast as he can, he hated when his mother drank; she was always a different person.

He closes the door and puts his headphones in, starting his music. Welcome to the Black Parade was the first song to play. He smiles and begins his twenty minute walk to school. He flips his hood up, pushes his hair out of his face and stuffs his hands in his pockets, the same as every day. He was so bored with everything; it was the same routine day after day, week after week and month after month. He just wanted change, was that too much to ask? He didn't think it was.

He shakes his head and tries to clear his thoughts, just focusing on his music. The song soon ends and Ritual by Black Veil Brides comes on. This was one of his favorite songs. Finally reaching school, he takes out his headphones and pulls his hood down. Some people wave to him and he waves back, smiling.

The whole atmosphere changes though when a certain boy enters the school. He sees a figure walking beside him and he sighs. "Xavier, what do you want?" He asks annoyed. Xavier just plasters on a fake smile and looks at Ethan. "I just wanted to inform you that we had a new student." He says innocently.

Ethan smirks and shakes his head. "This ones mine." He says looking up at Xavier. Ethan was always innocent, so everyone thought. Given a challenge against Xavier he was the most conniving and manipulative person you'd meet. The only thing he wouldn't do was hurt guys, he never hurt anyone.

He looks around and sees a fresh face. "Game on, Xavier." He says smirking.

And with those simple words, a new challenge had been issued.

"You're on." Xavier says smirking as well.
