Izzy, Alec, Magnus, Simon, Clary, Jace and I all stood with our backs to each other. Demons. There was wayy to many to handle. Almost a hundred or more. "Jace! Wait! We need another plan!" I yell, watching as he pulls out another serif blade. "What other plan!? We've already used our plan B!!!!" Magnus shouts, his eyes flashed yellow as he tuned into the sounds around him. I took a deep breath and began to think. My brain, racing faster than what my heart was.. and then suddenly something hits me. "Wait! I've got it!" I exclaimed, pulling out my stele, I draw the rune Clary had taught me. I finished drawing the rune, and then a sudden bright light exploded before our eyes. The rune had enough power to turn over thirty demons into salt. Yeah. Salt. We then split up into teams. Izzy and Alec and Clary were down one hall of the building Jace, Magnus and I were on the other. "Use that heat signature thing!" Magnus whispered in the darkness, pointing at the pulsating ruby around my neck. Izzy lended it to me. The ruby led us further down the building. I opened my mouth to say something, but before I could, something stabbed into my back. I fell to my knees. "J-Jace!" I scream. It was a demon that attacked me. A greater demon. Magnus shot off a ball of energy at the demon, and flung it out a window. Blood poured from my stab wound. "J-Jace!" I sobbed, not able to find the strength to move. I heard screeching from my left. I felt around for my stele, panicking when I couldn't find it. I hear a thud. It landed over me. Its hand grabbed my left arm, and brought it to it's mouth. I screamed, squeezing my eyes shut as I felt the ripping of skin. I could smell blood. I felt sick. I felt weak. Opening my eyes, I watch as the demon disappeared. Moments later, I hear Jace. I screamed, screaming for him. For anyone. Jace fell to my side, a hand on my knee. "Oh by the angel.. Y/N just breathe. You're gonna be okay. Just stay with me!" Jace says quickly. I felt my heart skip, and I grip his hand in my good one. "I can't Jace" I gasped, seeing spots cover my vision. My eyes met his, and for the first time ever, I saw him crying. I laughed, but it sounded like a gasp cause of the pain. My heart began to sputter, and I knew it was almost time.

Jace grabbed my hand and before I knew it, I felt everything slow down. I smiled through my heightened pain. "It's okay.. I'm fine" I promised him. Izzy, Magnus, Clary, Simon showed up. I laughed again, my legs slowly getting numb. "Oh God.." Simon sighs. My chest heaved with my final breath, and I wouldn't have it any other way... Dying in place of someone I loved..
