Prolouge
It happened on a christmas day. Im really not sure why, or how, but all of a sudden she had looked around herself, at the lights that adourned the childrens hospital, the smiles and the laughs echoing off the walls, and it seemed, that in that one moment, she finally, finally understood. She understood why things happened the way they did. She now knew how the world worked. She was thrilled, jumping for joy inside her head, though her body layed still, never moving a muscle in her bed. her sunken face shone bright under the twinkling lights strung along the room, and she was smiling. even when the constant beeping from the machine slowed with her weak heart beat, she kept smiling, and while drawing what she was certain was her last breath, she looked back on her life, wishing she could share what she had discovered with the world. wishing that someone would tell her story.
