Davina woke up, hair tangled, yawning as Adam yelled at her from the kitchen to get ready for school. "D, I'm not your personal alarm clock, get up." Adam said, knocking on her door room, entering and opening up the curtains.

"Oh the light! It burns!" Davina hissed and put her pillow over her eyes.

"Cut that shit, Dracula. Wheels up in twenty." Adam said leaving a still sleepy Davina on her bed.

"Okay, Aaron Hotchner." She said sarcastically and she heard Adam say the familiar phrase that belong to Aaron Hotchner from criminal minds.

Davina slowly got out of bed making her way to her closet and chose her outfit of the day.Her phone began to ring as she put on her flats. It was her mom calling, which she rarely did. Hesitating, she picked up the phone.

"Hello?" She answered.

"I though you would be in school by now," her mom's voice filled her ears.

"A good morning would've been much appreciated, it's about to be six thirty, school starts at seven thirty." Davina explained, going to the bathroom to brush her teeth. "Not that I don't like talking to you, but is there a reason for you calling? I'm kinda in the middle of something."

"Your dad has been spending more time in lab hasn't he? Robert doesn't know when to stop."

"He has, but at least he's in new york. Where are you now? Canada? Africa?" Davina asked, getting her toothbrush out.

"Queens."

"That's not funny, you're probably on an island with a margarita beside watching a tv show." Davina said. "Don't lie." And with that she hung up and continued to get ready.

"Hey, Davina? Can you take these papers to Coach Wilson, he had to sign them." Mrs. Maddox, Davina's favorite teacher who now worked as the assistant principal, gave Davina a folder with papers inside to take to coach wilson.

"Yeah, of course." Davina agreed taking a hall pass and walking to the direction of the gym. Inside, Coach Wilson was making the students take the Captain America fitness challenge.

"Coach Wilson, you need to sign these." Davina gave Coach Wilson the papers he needed to sign and waited for him to finish. "Hey, Michelle. New book?" Davina sat down next to Michelle, who was reading.

"Yeah, this class gets pretty boring," michelle took her eyes off of her copy of 'of human bondage'. "Are you going to Liz's party?"

"Are you?" Davina asked.

"I asked you first."

"I asked you second."

Michelle cracked a smile at her blonde friend. "I love our talks, but yeah I am going. Is Juniper going?"

"I think so, she's been so busy with-"

"Peter knows spiderman!" She heard ned shout, which caught the attention of both girls and almost the whole entire gym.

"And that's my cue." Michelle said before getting up and leaving. "See you later."

"Uh, no I don't, i- no, I mean..." Peter got up from his mat, stuttering.

"They're friends. Yeah like coach Wilson and Captain America are friends. At least blondie over here knows the avengers, hey Davina." Flash smirked at Davina and waved at her.

"I've met him, yeah, a couple of times, but it's um, t-through the stark internship." Peter said nervously. "Which I'm not supposed to talk about," he looked back at Ned with gritted teeth.

"That's awesome, hey you know what? Maybe you should invite him to Liz's party." Flash suggested.

"Yeah, I'm having people over tonight. You're more than welcome to come." Liz said.

"Huh? Would you look at that." Davina mumbled.

"Party?" Peter couldn't believe it.

"Yeah, it's gonna be dope, you should totally invite your personal friend, spiderman." Teased Flash.

Peter stood there, still not knowing what to say until Liz spoke up. "It's okay, I know Peter is way to busy to parties anyway."

"Oh c'mon he'll be there, right Parker?" Flash walked by him, smirking. The bell rang and every student got up to leave.

"Thanks, coach." Davina thanked the coach for signing the papers and started to walk towards Peter and Ned.

"What are you doing?" Peter asked Ned.

"Helping you out. Did you not hear her? Liz has a crush on you." Ned explained.

"Are you really going to the party? Peter, you don't need spiderman to go to a party. I could've taken both of you." Davina walked beside them.

"Thanks, D." Ned smiled. "Dude, you're an avenger! If any one of us has a chance with a senior girl, it's you." Ned said.

"Don't tell me you're doing it." Davina frowned. "I mean, my brother does thing like that to get free cake at the bakery, but a party? C'mon Peter, just be yourself."

Peter watched as both his best friend and the girl he was developing a crush on left together. "C'mon Peter." He whispered to himself.
