Chapter 1

ZOE'S POV

"Zoe!" My mum shouted across the house, "dinners ready,"

"I'm not hungry," I bellowed back to her, "I'm off to Joe's, I'll eat there,"

"Okay, but I'll check up on Carol to make sure you ate!" She warned,

"Okay whatever," I say running and hugging her goodbye.

I walked outside as I got a text from Joe.

'you still coming over?x'

I replied

'Yes of course:) x'

Now just before you get any ideas, me and Joe are friends. We've decided it's going to stay that way. Even though he's completely gorgeous - a bit Harry Styles looking (lighter hair though) - we're going to stay friends this time. We've known each other since we were 11, 5 years later and we're still friends.

I get to Joe's house and his mum, Carol answered the door,

"Oh, Zoe, it's good to see you," she says pulling me into a hug,

"It's good to see you too," I said smiling, "is Joe in?"

"Yes he's in his room, do come in,"

"Thank you," I say running up to his room.

"Joe, I have so much to-" I say opening his door but I stop talking and realise it's not Joe in his room, but a hot, blue eyed, blonde haired guy sitting on his bed.

"Hi, um I'm Luke," he said raising his eyebrows and flashing a perfect smile, "I'm Joes Australian exchange."

Okay so right now there was a lot of things going though my head. Where's Joe? Why does he have a hot guy on his bed? When was he gonna tell me about this? Wait, do I look ok? OMG is that a lip ring!? How old is he? He's so hot.

While thinking these things, I realised that I was staring at him with a shocked face, or in other words a face like I've just shit myself.

"Um, are you okay?" He said standing up and walking towards me.

I look into his eyes like a loved up puppy dog. I'm so pathetic.

Realising I'm actually alive, I snap out of my daze, "oh um, yeah, eh, Z-Zoe" i say holding my hand out,

"Oh, um I don't do hand shakes," he pulled me in for a hug, "I'm a hug guy," he whispered in my ear.

"Well, am I interrupting something?" Joe asked as he walked into his room,

Me and Luke broke the hug, "no, I was just saying hi to Zoe," he said waving at me, I waved back like an idiot.

Great. I've already fucked things up for myself.

"Joe!" I said grabbing his arm, "a word!" I pulled him into the corridor outside his room. "You have some explaining to do!"

So that was the first chapter of my fanfic! Ik it was short but it was a bit of a cliffhanger so I'm being cruel;)
