The New Girl

Chapter 5

Taylor's POV

I slowly open my eyes and flinch a bit when the bright light hits me. I feel something wiggle next to me. I look down and I see the small girl curled up into my side. Everything from last night floods my mind and I smile wide. She rolls over, facing away from me. I could tell she was awake. I snake my arm around her waist and cuddle my head into her shoulder.

"Good morning," I whisper and she shifts.

"Good morning," she sleepily mumbles.

"Sleep well?"

She nods her head. She rolls over and burries her face in my chest.

"You're so warm," she says putting emphasis on 'so'.

I laugh and pull her in closer. She starts giggling too.

"Knock knock!" the boys scream as they barge in through the door.

I groan.

"Are we interrupting?" Cameron asks smirking.

"Go away," I growl.

"You're so loud," Nikki mumbles into my chest, not moving a muscle.

The boys all start laughing.

"Oh and Lindsay wanted us to tell you that she went home cause her and Aaron have a date!"

All the boys whoop and holler as Aaron's face turns red.

"Cut it out," he mumbles.

"Aww he's embarrassed," Nikki again mumbles.

"You know what.." Aaron says trailing off.

He walks over the the bed and grabs Nikki's feet. He pulls her down to the end of the bed. Nikki squeals and wiggles trying to get away. I laugh along with the rest of the boys. Aaron picks her up and throws her over his shoulder.

"Watch out," he says carrying her through the door.

"Put me down! Aaron out me down!" we hear Nikki screaming in between giggles.

"Man she was so warm and comfy," I say and the rest of the boys laugh.

"You like her," Carter says smirking.

"Do not."

"Do too!" Nash adds in.

"Yeah really! Did you see how you two were just laying?" Cameron adds.

I just roll my eyes.

"Aaron! Aaron no!" Nichole screams and then it goes quiet for a minute.

"I feel like we should go check on them," I say and we all run down the stairs.

"Aaron? Nikki?" we all call but no answer.

We get to the back doors and see them. Nikki is soaking wet and standing by the pool while Aaron is laughing his butt off. We open the doors and go out.

"Look Taylor! I made your girl wet!" Aaron says cracking up.

"She isn't mine," I grunt.

While Aaron and the guys are cracking up, Nikki walks over behind Aaron. He doesn't even notice. With one hard push, she shoves him into the pool. We all scream and laugh.

"Way to go Nikki!!" I yell and she laughs.

Aaron resurfaces and looks around. He slowly climbs out of the pool.

"Give me the midget!" he shouts and we all laugh.

Nikki runs and stands behind me. She grabs my arms and turns me to where ever Aaron is coming from. After a few minutes Aaron gives up.
