The New Girl

Chapter 12

Nichole's POV

"C'mon Lindsay! Their plane is landing soon!"

"Nichole. I can't go any faster then the cars in front of me."

I groan and lean on my hand. I watch as the cars in front of us come to a stop.

"Oh come on!" I yell and Lindsay laughs.

"Nichole, calm down. We'll get there on time, I promise."

"I'm holding that to you."

She just laughs. The airport sign finally comes into view.

"See. I told you," she mumbles.

As soon as she parks the car, I take off.

"Nikki wait!" Lindsay screams.

I slow down until she catches up. We finally get to their terminal and I look all over. There are people everywhere but not my brothers.

"Looking for someone?"

I turn around and see two smiling boys.

"Cole! Jace!"

I jump onto Cole and he gives me a big hug and so does Jace.

"It feels like forever since I've seen you guys! And this is Lindsay. She's my roommate and singing partner."

They say hi to Lindsay and we start walking out.

"Wow its bright here," Jace says as he hops in the back seat of Lindsay's car.

"Yeah well welcome to New York," I say laughing.

Cole hops in next to Jace and I hop in the passenger seat.

"So Jace, Cole, Taylor has dinner reservations for us later. I'm not sure where though."

"I can't wait," Cole growls.

"Guys be nice."

"So Lindsay. What's your opinion on Taylor?" Cole asks.

"Really?" I groan under my breath.

"Well he definitally is a tough nut to crack. But he really does love your sister. Just the way he looks at her. I have no doubts on him."

Cole scoffs and Jace groans.

"Oh c'mon you two. Not getting the answer you want?" I say and they both flick me off.

"Love you too."

We arrive at Lindsay and I's flat. I walk up to the door and go to unlock it but the door is already unlocked.

"Lindsay did you not lock the door?"

"No, I did."

I walk inside and the living room light is on. I follow the light to see Cameron and Carter on the couch watching TV.

"What are you two doing here?" I ask and they both jump.

"Good lord Nichole! You scared the crap out of us!" Cameron shouts.

"Yeah well how do you think I felt!?"

"Sorry," they both say while laughing.

"How did you guys even get in here?"

"Carter has a unique talent," Cameron says and Carter chuckles.

"Who are you talking..." Jace says as he walks in but trails off.

"Jace this is Carter and Cameron. Guys this is my brother Jace. That one is Cole," I say pointing to Cole as he walks through the door.

They exchange hellos.
