School? Magic!?

Chap.1

This was a big day. Harry Potter was getting his letter, Ronald Weasley was trying to find his parents to beg them to get him an owl, Percy Jackson was finding out he was a demigod, and a little baby was being found at an orphanage doorstep. Well, that last part is sad, but good things will come out of it, you'll see. Oh! I almost escaped my manners. I'm the narrator. I'm trying to do my best at our main characters point of view in the rest of the chapters. But of course I'll tell you about the mysterious baby before the next chapter. I just have to rewind a little. Now where is that button? I'm sorry, I guess we'll have to tell you the best we can by what we remember. It all started when Mrs. Weasley and Mrs. Potter started wishing for a baby girl. You see, even after her death Mrs. Potter was hoping for the Potter family would be a little less unlucky and have at least one family member left to take care of their sweet son Harry. Mrs. Weasley was hoping for a daughter that Ginny could play with. They got their wish along with Ms. Jackson who they did not know about just yet. Apparently they also did not know that the gods were begging God to grant them a baby. The next day the gods found a baby on there doorstep with a note saying:

Dear gods,
This baby is a present from me to you. She is Mrs. Potter's, Mrs. Weasley's, and Ms. Jackson's. She is also all of your's. Yes that includes the girls. She has all of your powers. If you cannot take care of her send her to an orphanage after you get her baptized. I will protect her. On her eleventh birthday she will be taken to a place I cannot protect her. Take her to the camp when she is 13. Do not claim her till I send word. Start now.

The gods were speechless. They were all thinking. What will they do? They decided on the orphanage. Then they sent her off. They left a note with her name:

Chap.2 Hi I'm Jenny. It is August 25th.

When I woke up this morning I was pooped. I have never been tired before. And this is my special 11th b-day. Dang it. I got out of bed and realized it was 6:00. Then I heard a tapping at the window. Ahhh! Oh, it's just an owl. Then it gave me a letter. It was with ink and parchment. Who uses those anymore? Grandpa? Then I read the letter. It said :

You Jenniffer Jackpotley are excepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

You will need to be at the train station in London at 10:30 AM with your train ticket that is enclosed in this letter. The date is September 1st.

You will need:

• size ten pewter cauldron
• set of winter robes with silver clasps
• two sets of regular robes
• dragon scales, beetles eyes, and a unicorn horn
• dragon proof gloves
•earmuffs and winter supplies
•a set of feather pens and ink
• a wand
• a pet ( a toad, cat, or owl)

Well, that was strange I thought.
A school for witches and wizards? Highly impossible for me. How could I, the totally "normal" one around here be totally strange and weird? Well, just wait till I tell Sophie. She will freak out! Or be mad that she didn't get excepted to the magic school too. Yeah, my friend is a book geek. Don't think she hasn't read the Harry Potter books. This is almost exactly like them. I wonder if he ( Harry Potter) is done with school or not.
It would be so cool to meet him and Ron and Hermione. And Neville Longbottom is the headmaster! Who would have thought that?! And September 1st is in one week! How will I get all this magic stuff so soon? I don't even know where to get them. Great. Just great. I'm excepted to a magic school that I can't even go to. I just don't know what to do! *sigh*

Chap. 3 It's Jenny again!

It is now August 29th and I still don't know what to do. I wonder if the orphanage lady will let me get Harry Potter to show where to go to get my school stuff. He would know what to do and so would Ron. Oh, and I did tell Sophie about it. She was really happy but also sad. She said she would miss me and she wished she could come too. I heard a knock on the door of the orphanage. I opened the door and saw a guy who said his name is Hagrid. He looks the way J.K. Rowling described him in the books. I am surprised. I thought he would look more like the movie. Then he met Sophie and guess what. She hugged him! He was really surprised and laughed at her. Then he had the privilege to meet the orphanage lady who introduced herself to him as Mademoiselle Ivinta and now I'm surprised. I never knew that was her name. Looks like somebody has a crush on Hagrid! Apparently Hagrid was taking me to a place called Diagon Alley in underground London. Since I was at Madam Hills Place For Forgotten Kids
( my orphanage ) I was all the way in Sandusky Ohio and therefore a long way from London. Sophie asked how I am going to get there and I said that I was going to try flying on a broom all the way there and she said " You can do it Jen!" And me and Hagrid set off. I got on the broom and flew off. It is surprisingly easy. I don't know how long it has been but Hagrid yelled that we were flying over London ( at night ). He was riding an enchanted car like the one Mr. Weasley made but modified. We are here finally! Hagrid said we'll stay at the Leaky Cauldron. I wonder how good it is there because in the books J. K. Rowling describes the Leaky Cauldron as a nice place with annoying mirrors.

Chap. 4 The Narrator

Well I heard that Jenny was telling a really good story over there so I wanted to tell an even better part about it. She still doesn't know her powers from the gods! Or her powers from just being powerful like Dumbledore. But sadly Dumbledore died and is dead. I miss him a lot. He was a little like Madeline Hatter. But this story isn't about Dumbledore or Madeline or me. This story is about Jenniffer Godness Jackpotley so I need to focus more on her. Though I do feel sad that this story is all about her there may be other people's point of views but I'm sure they will tell you if they are talking. Bye, it's Jenny's turn to talk again.

Chap. 5 Hey, it's Jenny again and it's now August 31st.

We did stay at the Leaky Cauldron for 2 days and it was exciting. We had lots of fun. My mirror was super funny and nice and Hagrid's mirror was messy and would not clean his room because he was convinced Hagrid wasn't a wizard because the president of the wizards and witches didn't like him and broke his wand so he hid the wand in his umbrella. After the mirror locked Hagrid in his room Hagrid decided we would leave so now we are at Hogs Head trying to clean some cups so we don't get sick from drinking butterbear with Madam Rosmerta at the Leaky Cauldron. We couldn't eat or drink at the Leaky Cauldron until they can remove the mirror for safety purposes. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Chap. 6 Hi it's the narrator again.

I just wanted to say sorry to any one who isn't a witch or wizard here because they may have been offended that the mirror does not like muggles. I am also sorry for them because unlike us wizards and witches you don't ever get to do this stuff unless you go to Orlando, Florida to Universal Studios and see
Harry Potter world. It again is now Jenny's turn to speak.

Chap. 7 Jenny is here and it is September 1st!

I am walking to platform 9 3/4 right now. I know where it is because I read all the Harry Potter books and school books that Hagrid got for me over and over again last night. I just hope that I don't freak out at the prospect of going to an actual school for people with MAGIC! I mean how cool is that?! Pretty awesome!! I have a half hour till it says I need to be here on the ticket but the headmaster said to be here at 10:30 so I'll be here on time for the headmasters limit. I wonder why I had to come early.

Chap.8 September 1st still!

I just got on the train and saw an old person whose name is apparently George Weasley. He looked to be around 35 years old. He had his name printed all over his suit case.
