"See the new house isn't so bad," mom spoke cheekily with a huge smile on her face as she looked over at our new house. Mom had a box in her hand with 'CLOTHES' written in a permanent marker on it. I looked at the house then back over at mom before shrugging.

I guess you can say I was just disappointed. Having to leave all of my friends that I've known since kindergarten was really hard. Plus, it's senior year and who exactly wants to go to a new school during a year where every little thing counts. Now, I'm just going to have to be known as the new girl.

"It's nice, mom," I told her plastering a fake smile on my face. She looked over at me and let out a puff of air before walking up to the doors. My smile immediately wiped off my face the moment she walked away. I followed her as she opened up the door and walked into the home.

"It's even better than the pictures," mom exclaimed looking around. It was a nice two-story house, woodened floors, marble counter tops. Truthfully, it's many times better than our old house. My mom had a huge smile on her face as she set the box on the counter. I felt kind of bad for not grabbing a box from the car, but did carry in a glass jar — and I think that's pretty good.

I walked back over to the car, grabbing a box before taking it into the house. When we finished bringing in everything, I walked right into my room upstairs and threw myself into my bed. Luckily, my mom had gotten the house fully furnished before we got here. I reached over and grabbed a pillow from the top of my bed, and did something any overdramtic teenager would do when put into a situation like this — I screamed.

My scream was muffled by the pillow, thankfully. I thought it would help, but it didn't. School started tomorrow, and honestly I don't even think I'm ready. A knock echoed through the room before mom's face peeked into my room. She walked right in with a smile on her face and a box in her hands.

She had a motherly smile on her face as she sat down beside me on the bed. "Honey, how do you like your new room?"

"I love it," I lied as I smiled at her.

She looked so happy. Placing the box on the desk, she bent down and kissed my forehead before walking out leaving the room door wide open. "Mom!" I groaned, getting up from the bed and closing the door.

Throwing myself back on my bed, I grabbed my phone and scrolled through my Instagram before my attention was grasped. "Now this is a view I can get used to," she muttered to herself as she eyed the shirtless guy right across her window. He was on his bed with some headphones in his ears.

All I could focus on was his abs just begging for some attention and I could just see water glide down his muscles probably from a shower. My assumption was proven once he stood up and a towel was around his waist and he ran his fingers through his black curls that were wet and messy atop his head.

It seemed like he was moving in slow-motion as he turned around and his muscles flexed in every move he made. The guy literally had me drooling- "AHH!" I shrieked when he dropped his towel.

My eyes quickly diverted back to my phone screen as my cheeks heated up to that pink color. When my eyes went back up to the window, we made eye contact. He had a smirk on his face. My cheeks were probably crimson red by now, the guy— who now has on a pair of shorts — walked out of his room.
