Life is tough, but being a wife to an outlaw can just make it tougher.
People say that marriage is a beautiful thing, calling it a celebration of fervor and bonds, which it is depending on the circumstances. Some enjoy it for the rest of their lives, others only enjoy it when the man bends on his knee. Y/n had a different case.
Jason Todd may be fueled by revenge, but he can be a charming personality once he puts his hood down. So charming, that even she couldn't say no when he asked her the four words, the words which changed her life.
Just after the year of y/n's marriage, she and Jason tried for something which was even greater than marriage itself - a baby. Bringing new life to the world was like bringing more responsibilities. Jason, of course, was against this idea at first, but he changed his mind about it because he knew it will make his wife happy.
But even this happiness didn't last for long.
"What do you mean by 'this is not happening?'" Y/n shouted with anger, she was able to feel the tears in her throat. "You know I always wanted this."
The outlaw emitted a sigh, his azure hues only showed how stressed and tired he was. "We tried, can't you understand?"
His words only made her feel that he was against the whole idea of having a child, which obviously made her more angry.
"You never wanted a baby in the first place!"
"You really think I don't want this to happen?!"
"It looks like it!"
A tear descended from her orbs, and of course Jason couldn't stand that, but he didn't know what to say. He knew that when she was angry, she was angry. And y/n never listened to him when she was angry.
Then, something pinched Jason's spine, like a reflex action, he took y/n's arms and pulled her close. There was this warmth and they both could feel it, and this warmth started to grow when he placed his lips on hers.
The tender kiss was like a surge of power flowing through y/n's veins. The kiss lasted for a moment, and then she knew what she desired the most.
The morning was a pleasant one, but it all ended when y/n started to feel sick. Of course she spent three hours of her day in the bathroom.
Jason wasn't home, he left in the morning for some "unfinished business", something he didn't specify. This was the time to check, if it was her lucky day or not. She opened the medicine cabinet only to find a pregnancy test lying there, y/n quickly took it and hoped that this was it.

Jason came back, tired as usual. He looked around, but he was unable to find his wife. The only thing strange he saw was some baby toys on the dining table. He picked them up, he was perplexed. Y/n came from the bed room, a smile on her features.
This smile told him everything, everything he needed to know.
"Is this–"
"Yup."
A wave of happiness flowed through Jason, making him hug his wife with joy.
"I will be a father." The outlaw looked into her eyes, his arms still wrapped around her. "This is great!"
"I know!" Y/n exclaimed with joy.
"So have you thought of a name?"
"Hm..." she rubbed her chin before continuing. "If it's a boy, Bruce. If it's a girl–"
"Isabelle." Jason said with a firm tone, but his eyes were soft as ever. "Isabella Aurora Todd."
Y/n was a bit surprised, but she nodded with agreement. "Isabella it is."
