Remi's POV

Waking up from a text that made my phone go off, I quickly went to check it. Checking the time as well, it was only one in the morning. Opening up my messages, it was from Gina so I quickly opened it.

G - hey...

R - what up babe

It was as if she was shy or even scared to talk to me.

G - wanna hang out after school tom?

R - yu sure?

G - definitely

R - ight bet, won't be in school have sumthin to do but I'll see yu after

G - ok baby

Stopping at the sudden use of words, I couldn't help but think that I wasn't talking to my Gina. Growling at the sudden thought, I began to hear Kago growl silently in his sleep. No doubt me and him are finally mending are transfer bond which I also don't know bout since I'm not home. Going back to the messages, I began to worry if something had happen to Gina. I didn't reply back knowing that who ever this person is will catch on that I know that they're not who they pretend to be. I laid my phone on the nightstand and laid my head back down.

As my head continue to pound me with thoughts, I know I'll eventually be force to mark her by my nature as an Elzor. Closing my eyes, I thought of her laying beside me. Her soft pale skin against my red galaxy one as our legs and arms tangle together from the art of cuddling. Eventually my eyes soon shut as my soft snores escaped my lips.

Around three with Kago licking my face, I slowly opened my eyes from slumber. "What's wrong Kago?"

Rubbing my eyes, he pounced off my bed and ran in circles. Showing me he was energetic and wanted to run. "Really boy? It's three in the morning."

With his eyes he begged as I know he usually doesn't get the chance to go running in fresh air. Getting up, I disguised myself in human skin and threw on some sweat pants and a plain shirt. Not wanting anything to cover my feet, I opened the window to jump out as I threw Kago out first. Knowing throwing your pet out is dangerous but Kago was always excited when the time comes and he always land on his feet as well. Jumping down, I gave him the look knowing he knows the rules but he was too excited to care.

"Ok Kago, let's see if you can keep up?" Quickly I pushed with one foot as I dashed off having my zelfer a few feet behind me. We stayed onto the sidewalk running in the neighborhood knowing no one would be up. Without even realizing it, Kago was a tad bit in front of me making me force to push my legs harder. "There's no way you're beating me, rascal."

We ran a good five blocks before the harsh breathing started to kick in but that's not stopping me. Kago continue to run by my side now as we were taking it a little slow. Stopping in the middle of a empty field we literally just plopped our bodies onto the moist grass. Kago began to playful jumped around my body as I stared into the sky. The stars were sort of bright but not as bright as they were on my planet. On Elzoria, you could literally see the whole galaxy from the castle unlike here where you only see little stars every so often. Kago laid gently upon my chest as I ruffled his fur and my brain began to think of my interactions with the new elzorian that I met yesterday.

I really couldn't believe there was more here, it made me excited inside to know I'm not alone anymore but the things she said bout those humans are what worries me. If humans actually know we exist... no one knows what will come. My thoughts began to rotate towards my family that has lost their path since my absence. Elza was actually gone and it's because of me. My elzars are no where to be found and my elzo has gone off the cliff from sanity. Tears rolled down the side of my face as I thought of them. Feeling them being licked away, I smiled at my zelfer noticing he too was crying.

Getting up, he quickly followed suit. "Time to go home buddy."

As we walked the same route home, I began to hear an engine in the distance but from the sounds of it, it was coming in our direction, fast. Snapping at Kago to get his attention, I whisper knowing he'll hear it. "Run!"

He looked at me worriedly but obey me as he dashed off towards home. I continue to walk with my hands in my pockets to not seem suspicious of anything. The engine was right behind me as it slowly began to stop. I continue at my pace til I heard the drunk tone of the boy who just doesn't like my guts.

"Hey pretty, need a ride home?" he asked trying to sound seductive but failed. I didn't answer but continue walking. Hearing the sound of footsteps, I know they're was at least four following me. "Did you not hear me cutie?"

Having a tight hold onto my wrist, I quickly turned around kicking him in the gut with the bottom of my feet. He feel to the ground as the others seem to sober up, staring at me wide eye. "Bro, it's that bitch who whooped ya ass in basketball!"

They began to laugh but he got up angrily as he stared me down. He was no longer drunk that was obviously but I know he was mad. "Stop fucking laughing and handle this bitch you fools."

All at once they began to throw punches at me but unfortunately none of them actually hit me. Dodging some and blocking others, I used the advantage they took to breath to quickly attack. Punching two in the chest and tripping one as Brian was the only one standing, I smirked knowing that they didn't have a chance.

"Fucking freak, one of these days you'll die by my hands." he growled as he helped his buddies into the truck and sped off. I began to make my way home as I didn't care for the little entertainment he gave me but there's no way he'll ever have the chance to kill me.

Reaching home, I gone to where my window was above my head and jumped up. Hanging onto my window border, I quickly climes thru and shut it stripping off the clothing that was a little wet from the grass earlier. Shedding the human skin, I realized Kago was passed out on my bed as always. I notice recently that he hasn't been hiding much either. Checking his water bowl, I knew it'll be empty so I quickly refilled it and placed it back in his corner. Coming into bed, it took no time for me to once again me out like a light.
