Appu's POV
"Hurry!" I yelled to Prashanth as we rushed to board our flight.
When we finally got to the gates, I gave the attendant our passports and boarding passes and she let us on. Dulquer paid for our tickets and even paid for the first class lounge as we stop in Amsterdam.
He apologized for not being able to find first class seats on the plane were boarding, but that meant nothing compared to the fact that I was about to see him very soon. Prashanth and I placed our bags in the overhead bins and I let him have the window seat because I knew about his plane sickness.
The speaker in the plane turned on and the flight attendant spoke. "Please make sure you've fastened your seatbelts and be prepared for take off".
Prashanth closed his eyes and gulped as he held the armrests tightly. I laughed at his fear and then quickly covered my mouth as he sternly looked at me. Trying to conceal my laughter, I softly whispered sorry. He looked straight ahead and closed his eyes once more. His entire body was literally trembling. I put my hand on his as the plane started to take off. There was slight turbulence before the plane returned to being still. Prashanth opened his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Holy shit," he said as if a huge weight has been lifted off of him.
"You know what's funny?" I started. "You've been on a plane way more than I have yet you're shit scared of flying," I said.
"Shut up it's not my fault" he sad with a laugh. He picked up his phone and his smile dropped.
"What?" I asked.
"There's still nine f*cking hours till we land," he said sadly.
"Hey, look at me, there's nothing to be afraid of. It's just a simple ride and then we'll be in Amsterdam before you know it, okay?" I assured him. He looked at me and smiled as he nodded. "Are you hungry? I'm starving." I asked him.
He looked at me with a confused and shocked look as he said: "you literally just ate like two burgers at McDonalds and now you're hungry?"
"What? I've got a large appetite okay?" I said defensively. He laughed as he shook his head. We spent the rest of the flight watching movies and talking. Prashanth didn't get a blanket and so we had to share one. Eventually, we ended up falling asleep.
Prashanth's POV
I woke as a flight attendant tapped my shoulder to wake me up. I noticed that Appu fell asleep on my shoulder and smiled to myself.
I lightly shook her awake and she startled up saying, "PLEASURE TO MEET YOU MR.SALMAAN".
"That's how you're planning to greet him?" I asked with a laugh.
"We landed already?" she asked. She got up and opened the overhead bin. she got her suitcase, and then mine as she turned around and said with a huge grin, "LET'S F*CKING GO!"
I laughed at her over excitement as we got off the plane. "Is your brother here yet?" I asked her. She nodded yes as we made it through all the stops in the airport.
We walked outside and the hot Hyderabadi air hit us like a bullet. We looked around and finally found her brother, Aadharsh, who is settled in Hyderabad with his wife and a dog. No kids, he hates kids with a passion. He waved at us excitingly as we made our way towards him.

Appu's POV
I dropped all my bags as I ran into my brother's arms. He hugged me tightly as I greeted him.
"Ella unnavamma?" ( translates to How are you dear?) he asked.
"I'm good anna. How are vodhina and the dog?" (anna- brother, vodhina- older brother's wife) I asked him.
"everyone is good. It's so good to finally see the two of you again" he said as he hugged Prashanth. We soon got into a cab and drove to his home. As he rung the bell, Vodhina opened the door to greet us.
