《 ● Third POV 》
2:45 PM
There was only a few minutes left before his first day of class would end. In summary, today wasn't really special nor was it normal. It wasn't special just like how he started freshmen year last year where everyone in his class thought he was a foreigner and he was quite disappointed that he wasn't really gaining everyone's attention, though he doesn't mind.
Also, it wasn't normal, he could tell just by the way everytime he glances down on his drawer to see the rosegold journal almost glimmering in his eyes. give me a few minutes. He almost mentally curses the journal because he was also very distracted today. His fingers tapping impatiently on the desk in which Zeren grabbed his wrist.
"Stop tapping way too loudly, you're gonna grab everyone's attention." Zeren whispers beside him, flicking his forehead which Justin mumbled a small "Sorry."
Finally, the bell rang and Justin was even way too quick to grab the journal, flinging the cover open, grabbing his pen only to halt. What am I even going to write here?
Justin blinked repeatedly before he leans back to his hair. I don't even know if it really was him. Justin shakes his head, once, then twice, opting to hit his head on the desk gently instead, groaning.
"You look so distressed for someone who had just met their soulmate." Quanzhe sing-sang beside him, poking Justin's head.
"Ge. Please. I'm suffering." Justin groans, whipping his head to the elder's direction. Upon seeing the younger's face, Quanzhe's face fall in concern.
"Heard our little baby met his soulmate today!" Zhengting yelled from the door /which probably attracted about half of the people in the classroom-/ "But he's suffering.." Quanzhe mumbled.
"Suffering? What? Why?" Zhengting gaped, rushing quickly next to Justin's side.
"I don't know who my soulmate is." Justin whispered, sticking his lower lip out.
"Huh? How is that even humanly possible?" Zhengting scratched his head.
"He's just denying it was that cute tall guy that guided him here." Zeren quipped, crossing his arms.
"Cute tall guy..?" Quanzhe blinked.
"Yeah, senior guy." Zeren winked.
"Oh shit." Quanzhe gaped, only to cover his mouth, realizing Zhengting was around.
"Language, young man." Zhengting glared at Quanzhe.
"I think I know who that is." Quanzhe hummed. "But It's not possible." Quanzhe whispered to himself.
"Nonetheless, we have to go home. It's getting pretty late." Zhengting rubs Justin's back which earned him a groan from Justin.
So when the group decided to go, Justin was clutching the journal on his chest, opting to just put it in his locker so he could be distraction-free for the rest of the night, and right when he was about to open his locker, a figure just suddenly closed his locker.
"You." The familiar voice said.
"Oh. Hey." Justin blinked, unable to say more than those words at the moment.
"About to go home?" Chengcheng grinned.
"Uh, yeah, kinda." Justin shrugged his shoulders, lip pursed.
