I wake up to the start of someone walking. As I stand up and leave my room I bump into Alli.

"You heard something too?" She asks with her voice hoarse and raspy.

I just nod and we continue walking to the stairs. There we see our father about to walk out the door till he sees us.

"What's going on?" I ask my voice more hoarse than I expected.

"Your Aunt Kate just texted." he answers my, "I'm going to go pick her up."

"It's 2:00 in the morning." Alli responds confused. "Is everything okay?" I ask my voice now fully laced with worry.

"Yeah, yeah. She's just having a Iittle car trouble," my father answers as he looks at the both of us.

"Not serious, is it?" Alli ask her voice now laced with concern as well.

"No, just a flat tire." he answers smoothly, "Go back to bed, girls." We do as he says so. We bid each other farewell and go back to bed.

I wake up to screaming, "I don't see you for a year, and you turn into a freaking runway model? Look at you.
Oh! I hate you." and I'm about to yell at the person until I realize it's my sister and Kate.

"Kate!" I say now fully awake and running towards her. We engulf each other in a hug screaming.

"And you Katherine are absolutely stunning," she compliments me as well smiling widely.

"I haven't even showered yet." I say now fully embarrassed. Kate is the type of person that will make you feel amazing.

"Sweetie, you're a knockout, both of you are," she compliments us yet again looking at the both of us, "In fact, I hope you have the boys knocking each other's teeth out for your attention."

"I kind of have one." Alli says shyly bringing up Scott again. I can't help but roll my eyes.

"You kind of have one? You should kind of have a million." She says giggling. This results in all of us laughing.

After our laughing fit I ask Kate, "Do you need some help unpacking?" Just as I'm about to touch one of her bags she quickly grabs my wrist, "No, not that one," she says quickly her voice laced with nerves. Alli and I just look at her shocked.

Kate quickly covers it up by saying "See, you turn out beautiful, and I end up with this kung fu death grip," She says looking me in the eyes, "Sorry, sweetie, I didn't mean to be so rough," she says her voice sounding genuine.

I offer her a smile and say, "No worries."

Alli quickly changes the subject and asks, "Hey, is everything okay with your car?" her voice full of curiosity and me being curious as well I actually listen.
