Night School

As I'm starting to collect myself and my thoughts. I decide to call Lydia.

"Lydia...?" I ask straight away my voice hoarse while sniffling.

She doesn't hesitate to quickly ask, "Sweetheart Katherine... what's wrong?"

But before I can respond she quickly adds, "You know what Jackson and I will be there in two minutes to pick you."

I take a sharp breath and say okay while letting out a small breathy chuckle.

As I wait for the couple to come pick me up I think about what I was about to do. I was about to tell the Stilinski boy that I have feelings for him without knowing if he had them back.

Of course he wouldn't have them back since he's been in love with Lydia Martin since the third grade.

The reason why I know this is because he told me himself last week. We were just doing Chemistry homework like we did every Tuesday when I decided to ask the horrid question.

"Stiles who do you like?" I asked while looking at the Stilinski boy. I guess my question threw him off because he was shocked but he quickly recollected himself.

"Uhh Umm I've had a crush on Lydia since the third grade." He stuttered quickly which made me freeze in my spot and want to cry. He quickly asked, "What about you?

Surprising myself I replied with Isaac Lahey. I mean it wasn't a total lie he is attractive and kind but I don't really know him well. No one does since he mostly keeps to himself.

I'm snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of a car honking. I quickly pick myself up and walk into the tiny Porsche.

Upon entering the car I hear Jackson say "Lydia says we're coming to get you." I can only guess they're talking about Allison.

Jackson soon starts driving and I realize we're driving towards the McCall residence.

"Please don't." I can hear my sister faintly on the other side of the phone,
"I'm sure he's on his way. He's only 26 minutes late."

As she says the last part I let out a scoff. "You hear that? First, it's "He's only 26 minutes late, " a month later it's, "He only hits me when he's drunk." Lydia says which causes me to roll me eyes as Jackson and I lock eyes through the rear view mirror he gives me a reassuring smile which I quickly return.

"Slippery slope, Allison." Jackson says while Lydia follows after him and says, "Slippery slope."

"I decide I have enough of her games and say loudly, We 're picking you up."
"No" she replies being stubborn.

As we pull up towards Scott's house Jackson says, "Too late."

"Katherine gets what Katherine wants." I say smirking which causes Alli to roll her eyes at me. "Come on, get in." Jackson says and Allison does that she enters the car.
