One Summer morning Amanda went running through the woods near her aunt's house,Suddenly she saw a big pond of water. In it lived a girl with light complexion , tall blonde hair and sparkling eyes. Amanda was surprised to see that this girl looked a lot like herself ,she asked her many questions but talking to her was useless she only mocked every word Amanda said. Later that day Amanda went home and told her aunt about her new friend who keeps mocking her. After she had finished telling aunt Veronica about this mysterious girl Veronica said "I want to meet this trouble making friend of yours". The next day Amanda went back to the pond to invite her friend over but she still kept mocking every word. That day she went home sad and accidentally looked in the mirror and there she saw her again. Staring at Amanda with her brown eyes which were not sparkling anymore, she looked into another mirror and saw her again she found out that every mirror she looked in she saw her. She decided to show her aunt " Come and look at my friend! " she shouted with excitement.
"Where is she?" Aunt Veronica asked, "here she is" Amanda said pointing to the mirror. " Is this some kind of joke?" Her aunt shouted "no,this is my friend" she replied, "Are you crazy girl, don't you see that you are looking at your own reflection?, you are so stupid!"
" no!, That is not me she can't be me because I'm standing right here".
"I don't want to hear anymore of your nonsense, go to your room now and never come back into my sight!" Aunt Veronica screamed at the child. The child felt very bad as day by day aunt Veronica treated her worst.
