Even though Aunt Vivian scolded Amanda and convinced her that what she sees in the mirror is her own reflection she still does not believe that this is true, She still looks in the mirror and talks to her reflection. One day her aunt caught her looking in the mirror and talking to her reflection "how pretty you are, why are you doing and mocking everything that I say?".She didn't know that aunt Vivian saw and heard every thing " Are you still going on with your nonsense?, you are a very foolish girl if you keep acting like that I am going to have to run you out of my house for good. The next morning Amanda sneaked out of the house and went into the woods again, this time she met another girl her name was Shamoy, she had very tall dark hair and she was a bit pale in colour. She went up to the girl and spoke " hey there why do you have such a pale complexion?", the girl did not reply "why aren't you answering me?" Amanda asked " You are such a silly girl remove yourself from my sight" the stranger replied. When the strange girl said these words it reminded Amanda of what aunt Vivian said for these words were the exact words Aunt Vivian had said to her she taught this was very strange
