I Hate Everyone But You (Bigby x Male Reader) [Shelved]

New Town, New Person

The city lights of New York City glimmered and shined in the cold night, your [E/C] eyes shined as you watched the buildings pass by through the window of the yellow taxi you were in. You originally lived in Minnesota and saved alot of money to move to NYC, you missed your parents and all of your family. You were a bit relived though, you were finally able to start a new life in this city called Fabletown. You told the taxi driver to take you to the nearest apartment complex there was around.  It was a long drive to find one near but sooner or later the yellow taxi stopped. "Will this work for you sir?" The taxi driver asked, you looked out the window and saw the exterior of the nice apartment complex. There was a gate with white collums with a gold plate that read 'Woodland Luxury Apartments'. "This would probably do i guess" you said to the taxi driver as you got out of the taxi. You took your suitcase out of the trunk and stood on the sidewalk. You paid the taxi driver and waved goodbye. The yellow taxi drove away and you were left alone in front of the gates. You took a deep breath and opened the gate and walked to the front.

[Your P.O.V.]

I walked slowly to the front of the Woodland Apartment building, wow this place looks not bad, hopefully not too expensive. I open the doors to the inside pulling my heavy suitcase behind me. The lobby in this place didnt look bad, i looked to my right and saw the security guard knocked out in sleep. He should be awake, something could happen any second. I look to my right and see a board with names, a telephone, and an elevator. I didnt know where to go to so i went to the elevator and pressed on the button. I wait for it to open looking down at my [F/O] and hope i didnt look to bad for anyone. The elevator doors opened and i looked up and saw another guy already inside. He was a bit taller than me and sported a white shirt with a loose tie, some black pants with business shoes. He had a cigarette in his mouth and stubble on his face, his eyes were a gold amber color. He looked at me and asked "Can i help you?" He raised an eyebrow as he looked at me.

[Bigby P.O.V.]

I waited for this damn elevator to go down, man i haven't slept in 3 days. But it doesnt matter, i have to take care of the fables that wanna rip each other apart. I waited in the elevator and took out my pack of Huff and Puffs and took a cigarette out and lit it. I smoked it and blew out the smoke, seeing it fade in the air. The elevator doors finally open and im met with an unfamiliar guy. He didnt really look like a fable, he better not be a mundy otherwise id never hear the end of it from Snow. He had a suitcase with him and was wearing something i never had seen before. I noticed he was looking at me, I asked "Can i help you?" I raised my eyebrow at this shorter guy a bit curious to his intentions. He then said "oh sorry to bother you, do you know if there are any rooms for rent? Im new to this town and i was wondering if there was one here" i do remember there being a room available next to mine but i dont know if Snow would let him, he doesnt look like a fable. "I think theres one still available but you're gonna have to talk my colleague Snow about it, her office is on the second floor. I gotta leave anyway" i replied as i started walking away

[3rd Person P.O.V.]

Bigby was already about to leave the building when [Y/N] said "Oh thank you um, whats your name?". Bigby looked back at him and said "Im Sheriff Bigby Wolf" he said holding his cigarette and walking out of the building. [Y/N] said as he left "Thank you." The smaller man went inside the elevator and pressed on the second floor button and felt the doors close and go up. He had never heard of a nam like Bigby Wolf, it sounded familiar to [Y/N]. A minute passed and the doors opened to the second floor, [Y/N] walked with the luggage and saw the doors were labeled, he looked around for a main office one and soon found if. He was about to open the door until Snow opened it and saw [Y/N].

[Snow P.O.V.]

I walked with the files of The Crooked Mans group members, it was dark days to see him terrorize Fabletown. But Bigby took care of it, im glad he did. I opened the door holding the files and saw a man with a luggage, he didnt seem like a fable, i really hope he wasnt a mundy. He looked at me and asked "Excuse me, are you Snow?" I was a bit confuzed and curious, how did he know my name? "Yes, my name is Snow. Who are you?" I asked wanting to know.

[Your P.O.V.]

I was kinda nervous meeting snow, she looked like the type of person i would talk to, she kinda reminded me of someone but i wasn't really sure. "Oh my name is [Y/N], i was wondering if there are any rooms available, im new to this city and it would be great for me to start here" i said a bit confident. She looked at me and replied "there is one room, but you need to sign and fill out some forms. Come with me" i heard her say as she walked down to the main office. We both got in and i couldn't believe what i had seen. It was very spacious and it didnt look normal. Snow walked to her desk and opened a drawer and pulled out the files to the apartment. It took a few minutes, moreso 15 minutes but i finished it up and gave her the paperwork "Alright that will be all, ill set up your first payment and we'll see from there" she had said. I was about to say something as i heard the door open from behind. Bigby walked in.

[Bigby P.O.V.]

I walked inside the main office after walking around the city. Not much happened which meant less work for me. I opened the door and saw [Y/N] with Snow. "Snow? Whats going on?" I asked a bit curious to why she would let a mundy see this. She looked at me and said "Oh Bigby! Um theres something i wanted to talk to you about" she had said as she walked to me "Why did you let a mundy here?" I said, seeing [Y/N] look at me odd

[Your P.O.V.]

What? Whats a mundy? Why did he call me that? Im getting really confused by them. I see the two bickering about something so i stood up and started to walk to them "um, excuse me? Whats happening? And whats a mundy?"

[3rd Person P.O.V.]

Bigby and Snow looked at each other as Bigby said "Okay, we shouldn't be telling you this but" he was cut off by Snow "Bigby what are you doing?! You cant just tell a mundy that-" then [Y/N] said "Um what?". "Look, we arent actual humans, we're fables" Bigby said sternly. "Fables? Like fairy tales?" [Y/N] asked a bit confused. "Yes, exactly that. But if word goes to the mayor that a mundy found out about us-" Snow said with worry but Bigby cut her off "Snow relax, [Y/N] wont tell anyone, and if he does." He said and stood in front of [Y/N] looking down at the smaller boy. "I'll take care of him myself."

[Your P.O.V.]

"H-hey look, i-i wont tell anyone i promise. I actually think its really cool seeing my favorite stories become a reality" i said backing up a bit, jeez Bigby sure was intimidating. I heard him say "Hmph, we'll see" he said standing next to Snow. She said "Well, welcome to Fabletown" she put her hand in her pocket and i saw her take out a ring with other keys. She looked through them and gave the key to my room. I smiled and took the key.  "Thank you, I'm glad im able to be here." I said to her. "Wait so if you're fables, then you must be Snow White?" I asked a bit confused. She nodded and said "Yes." I looked at Bigby and said "then who are you?"

[Bigby P.O.V.]

"The Big Bad Wolf" i said with a straight face, i honestly dont expect this guy to trust me. But he didn't really seem afraid of me, he looked more curious. "Oh wow, thats kinda cool!" He had said with a smile, he looked happy about it, but why? "Hmm" i muttered out. I then heard Snow say "Well, it was great meeting you and i hope you enjoy your stay here. If you need anything just contact either me or Bigby" i looked at [Y/N] and saw him smile and say "Thank you" he walked to the office door and saw him leave. I then started to smell something. I dont know how but it smelt way different. It definetly wasnt Snow, it was different.

It was him.
