"Yeah, that would be awesome." Brian said with a smile stuck on his face.

"I will text you the time and place." I declared.

"So, who else will come?" He asked.

"I'm not sure yet, but ma said no boys." I grinned.

"Then why did you invite me?" He looked confused.

"Because ma thinks you're a good friend." I explained.

He raised an eyebrow, but as the bell rang he quickly said:

"Okay, see you later Gray!

I had maths, the worst subject in the world, according to me, not to Brian though. He wanted to be a math professor, teaching middle schoolers. I, however, wanted to be a photographer. I always had my camera with me, anywhere I went.

I was preparing for an hour of nonsense when I saw a new face pushing to get in the classroom. Is there a new girl?

I sat down quietly at my assigned seat, all by myself, wondering how I would get people to come to my party. Although, ma has a pool, so it would probably be pretty easy to convince them.

I looked up from my hands at the teacher, hoping she would start the class, but instead she called out:

"We have a new student here, her name is Daphne Collins, and I hope you will welcome her with open arms."

My palms were sweating from keeping myself to yell that she could sit with me. Suddenly, she looked at me, and smiled. I smiled back.

"Daphne, why don't you go sit with Grey Anderson, in the back of the room." Mrs. Gladstone smiled tightly.

"Sure." Daphne said walking towards my desk.

"By the way, I know that you're not straight." She whispered

"What? How...?" I I whispered back.

"You cannot sit on chairs properly." She said, pointing a my feet that I had on my desk, crossed.

She herself put one leg on her chair and the other on her table, and looked at me, saying:

"Let's say I have the same problem."
