Chapter 6. ~ Kira
It was the next day, after the party. The sun was shining outside, a typical spring day. Every option was open, I could've done anything. Anywhere.
But no. Here I stood, cleaning our apartment. After the party last night, and the little incident with being locked in my room, we had told the people still there to leave.
Harry was there just in time to stop me from screaming at that Emma/Emily girl, because I was almost certain she had locked us in. Jealous little bitch, were the words running through my mind while I brushed together left over chip pieces from the table.
Of course, not everyone had wanted to clean up. And suddenly, the rest of the boys didn't think of the party as theirs too, and said they didn't need to clean anything up since it was our party. Lazy boys, I thought to myself while shifting the chairs back into place. And Danielle had left the party early anyways because someone had spilled a drink on her. She hadn't even been locked into the room.
So after that, Meaghan and me somehow had to decide who would clean up the apartment, since she didn't think two people would have to do it.
We decided to settle it with a spinning race on the chairs by the bar, Louis as judge. Now obviously, I let Meaghan win. I was a good friend and couldn't watch her disappointed puppy look when she lost something.
So, here I was, a fresh spring day, cleaning the apartment.
I was half way done though. I had already removed the drink marks and trampled chips from the floor, and was now on to cleaning tables, chairs, couches and the kitchen. I sighed in dispair and looked up at the mess of an apartment, while Meaghan was next door, chatting with the boys. I hate her, I told myself, but deep down I knew I actually owed it to her. She had done so many things for me the last couple of days, let alone the fact that she had found this apartment. And as much as I hated to admit it, she was the reason we were friends with One Direction now.
I sighed and walked over to my iPod station, and plugged in my phone. Then I went and selected "One Direction" and played off their first song, "Moments". I smiled to myself and went back to swipe the table clean.
Not long after I had started singing to myself, someone knocked at the door. I rose an eyebrow, wondering why any of the boys or Meaghan would want to come by while I was cleaning the apartment. I was ready to grab who ever stood in front of the door and pull them in, forcing them to help me. When I saw a well known face stand in front of me, a weak smile was on his face.
"Jay." I whispered and he nodded, looking around, to see where he was.
"You moved." He stated the obvious and I nodded, widening the door a little to let him come in. My hands were shaking, and suddenly my throat was dry.
"Yeah." I then added, not sure if he saw me nod. Just to be safe.
"You never told me." He then said and turned to me, his jaw clenched a little.
