I not really sure what I expecting to find at their camp. I mean it could be anything from starving kids huddled around a fire to I don't know,  a ton of huts filled with food, water, and beds. Who knows how resourceful they are. So I can't really say that I was surprised when we got there.

"Welcome to Camp Awesome," Aaron said pulling back some branches.

Okay, I lied earlier. I really was surprised when I saw the camp. Let me tell you, they weren't in the best shape. Well they had little huts and a fire pit, but besides that, it kinda sucked. They really need some serious help.

"Aaron, how many people are stuck here?" I asked, counting the huts. There were 5 of them,

"9 including me. Why?" Aaron replied, walking over to the fire pit.

"Just wondering." I said following him.

Cody stayed back, surveying the area. "You guys should set up a fence so that nothing can get in. Then for the huts, use palm tree leaves for the roofs. It will help keep out the rain. You could also use the palm leaves for like doors for the huts also." He said, still looking around.

"Hmm, those are good ideas. I'll tell Liz when she gets back." Aaron said.

"Who?" Cody asked.

"Liz, she's the leader of our little group. She was the first person who ended up here, along with her little sister Ella."

"Oh so where is everyone?"

"Out looking for food and other people who got stranded here. Like you two...or three if someone finds Jacob."

I nodded, trying not think about Jacob. "So, when will everyone be back?"

"Probably pretty soon since the sun is starting to set," Aaron said.

On cue, kids starting to walk in from all direction. As soon as they saw us though, they all froze. A tall blond girl walked up to where we were.

"Aaron," The girl said angerly, glaring at Cody and I.

"Ashley," Aaron growled back, taking a step in front off me.

"What do we have here?" Ashley asked, moving quickly so she was in my face. Aaron tried to seperate the two of us, but Ashley keeped getting in my face.

"Stay away from her, Ashley."

"Aww, little Aaron's got a girlfriend. Isn't that cute." Ashley taunted as glared at me.

This made him furious. He was a little over protective of me. "I said, stay away from her."

I swear he would of punched her in the face, if this other girl didn't break it up.

"What the heck is going on here?" She yelled.

This made Aaron and Ashley froze, terror in their eyes. They both turned to looked over at the girl.

"Aaron, I expect more out of you. Your 16 for pete's sake! Stop getting into stupid fights with Ashley."

"Sorry Liz," Aaron muttered looking at the ground.

"And Ashley, stop starting stupid fights with Aaron. I getting sick and tired of you acting like this. Now either clean up your act or you'll be on gaurd duty for the next two months. Do you understand."

"Yes, Liz." Ashley said clearly embarassed.

"Now everyone get back to work. Aaron, Ashley, I want to have a word with you two."

The rest of the kids went into their huts and started to seperate the food they had gathered. Liz walked over to us.

"What was it about this time?" Liz said, sighing.

"Aaron here was breaking the rules," Ashley said.

"I was not. Ashley was the one being unreasonable." Aaron protested.

"So...what exactly was this about? Liz asked again.

Aaron and Ashley pointed towards me.

"Um...hi." I said awkwardly.

"Aaron, you know that when you find someone, that you have to find me first. And Ashley, next time, instead of starting a fight, come get me."

"Yes, I know, but I couldnt just leave them there on the beach." Aaron said.

"Wasnt there someone with you?"

"No, I was alone today."

"Alright, so who are they?"

"Cody, my brother, and Maggie, my....friend." Aaron said, pointing to us. During his pause, Ashley had mutter, "girl." Wow was she annoying.

"Cody, you can stay will Aaron, and Maggie you'll have to go with Ashley. Try not to kill each other."

"Oh no, she is not staying with Ashley." Aaron protested.

"Sorry, but you know the rules, boys with boys, girls with girls. So you two go get seattled in and then come back out for dinner around the firepit."

Cody and I nodded and started to head out to our huts when I heard a little girl say,"Liz! Liz! Look what I found!" I turned to see a little girl skipping holding the hand of a teenage boy.

Jacob.
