Chapter 11: Game

"So, you're telling us in a matter of one night...We are at 2014 now?" Justin asked, after seeing ZhengTing's nod he immediately got his phone and dial a number.

"Farrah? It's really you! I miss you so much!" Justin said, his face showing pure joys as it soon replace with an awkward laugh.

"Ah, yeah— I miss you even though I saw you yesterday." Justin said awkwardly before ending his phone call.

"Okay, we're in 2014." Justin said before tossing his phone towards the table. ChengCheng looked at his phone and at all the application, a few of them are deleted since it didn't exist at 2014.

"Hmm, care to explain why is Hidden is still on my phone? It didn't launch until 2018..." ChengCheng said before each of the member pull their phone out.

"Well, that's odd... it shouldn't be here." ZhengTing said before clicking onto the application. Instead of seeing the usual greeting notifications, it was replaced with a video footage.

"Guys, go to Hidden real quick. This is odd." ZhengTing said while clicking onto the video the system sent him. The member surround the mom of the group, looking at the video all together.

A figure dress in black, his face under a mask to cover his identity. He walked towards the camera before pulling down the black curtain from the background. A screen of ZhengTing's girlfriend being hospitalized before the heart monitor went to a straight line.

"What the heck..." XiaoGui said before seeing the changing expression on ZhengTing's face.

"I know you rewrote her ending," the male said as the screen faded into pure darkness. The mysterious male stand there, pointing towards the camera like he's pointing at ZhengTing.

"You can't truly save her unless you win this game." The video ended, without a single instruction of what the 'game' may be about.

Other members log on to Hidden, only a few receives a video footage. ZhengTing look around at each member's phone only YanJun, Justin, ChengCheng, and him received a footage.

"What is going on..." ZiYi said before clicking onto YanJun's video. The same male appeared on the screen, his hand claps as a cliche villain's chuckle can be heard.

"Did Yang YuYin never told you about her deepest, darkest secret?" The male questioned, before sitting down on a chair. "Of course, if she tell you at least one thing she would never die."

"Why do he sounds like he knows a lot about XiaoYu?" ZhangJing commented before the male on the screen shake his head in signs of disappointment.

"I know a lot more about her than you think, her past, her future, her real death date." He mentioned the last part slowly, "she's supposed to live all the way up to 78 years."

"Why don't you change her future again? Like how you save XiLing." He said before the video ended.

"Who the heck is he?!" YanJun said before the member shrug, a nervous face painted on each of them before they move onto Justin's video.

The male walk into the camera with a wheel chair he pushed in. Justin raised his eyebrow, looking at the familiar female who's sitting on the wheel chair.

"Remember her, Justin?" The male said before lifting Farrah's head up to the camera. "Call me M, everyone of your lover's ending will change if you win the game." He said to the people who's watching the video, more specifically to ZhengTing, YanJun, Justin, and ChengCheng.

"Head to the next video, it'll tell you a lot about what game we are playing." The video ended, everyone glanced at ChengCheng before letting the video play.

"XiaWan, disappeared with Xia LanYin when XiaWan is 7. Came back alone to her family when she's 16 but died before her 17th birthday." The male gave a brief summary before turning around to face the camera. "You remember XiaWan the most out of the three sibling from Xia Family, right Fan ChengCheng?"

ChengCheng nodded slowly in silence, a nervous look in his eye can clearly be shown.

"The game is simple, each day there is a task or multiple tasks that have to be completed. If it's not completed, I can't promise you the result will be them all living in good condition." The last sentence sounded more like a threat than explanation to the nine members.

"For other members, of course you guys have the tasks too. To get you motivated in doing them, do you want to see how your life went? If you want to, always tag me using M@Hidden.org in Dm please." The male said before stretching his back. The video ended, leaving the members in confusion and disbelief of horror.

"Our...life?" NongNong mumble before XuKun patted his shoulder. "Everything will be fine, this is probably a sick joke."

"But, Farrah..." Justin mumbled before a notification pops up on each of their phone. A task shows up on their phone screen, each with their unique missions that the members have to achieve.
