Chapter 18- The True Devil

The griever plunges forward, with its tail ravaging all the trees surrounding it. Zach gets ready for the intercept.

Suddenly, a shadow appears between the two. Zach grins smiles as he says, "The true devil's finally here."

I look at the shadow more closely, as she clashes with the Griever with her sword. It was Ashley! She blocks the Griever's attack and shouts fiercely, "To get past this line, you have to go through me!"

She pushes the Griever backward, as she shouts, "Jovi now!"

Jovi immediately jumps out of a bush and fires his minigun. The Griever immediately withdraws.

Amber suddenly appears behind the griever as she dives under the Griever, slicing its forelimb with her scythe.

Then, amber shouts, "Andy go for it!"
Anderson appears, as he shouts, "Firestorm!"

A red circle forms around the griever and fire starts to sparkle out of it. A huge tornado of fire forms around the griever, blocking our view. The Griever's health reduces rapidly. After a minute, the fire dissappears. The Griever stands back.

Lucas steps forward. Blue circles start to form in front of his eyes as he says, "Now, It's my turn to shine."

The circles start to rotate, and then, the griever's eyes turn blue. The Griever loses its balance and falls. It struggles to get back up, but fails.

"I can't hold it on for long, so fast!", He shouts. Zach's the first to charge forward. A strange dark aura starts to envelope him. His sword, which was covered by the dark magic, starts to get bigger. He shouts, "Dark explosion!" and dashes forward at the speed of light. Zach plunges at the griever, as he slashes it with his super long sword. For a moment, I felt that I could see a wicked dark beast coming out of the sword, as it hits the griever, creating a huge black explosion.

"Whoa! What was that?" I ask, astonished.

Audrey answers, "That's Zach's Dark magic. He calls it the 'Asura'. And his katana, the demon slayer is the finest of its kind. A weapon that generates immense amount of dark energy that only a true dark wizard can control."

"So, it's something like a magic stone?", I ask.

"Nope, Magic stones can only provide you elemental energy, but a magic weapon like this one, is capable of even controlling you and consuming all your inner strength. If you lose control over your weapon, it would be the end of you." Anderson replies.

To control a weapon like that, Zach must be really very strong. Then, I hear a crackling sound. Lucas eyes starts to turn red, as the circles start to break apart. "I'm at my limit now!" He shouts.

"Hey Ashley, shall we try out our special move?" Matthew asks, grinning

"Fine with me!" Ashley says, excited.

Ashley and Matthew move forward, as they stand in their attack stance.
"Twin Burst skyscream!" They shout and dash forward. Dark and white light starts to surround them as they sprint forward. Suddenly, two translucent dragons appear from the sky, blowing up the ground beneath the griever.

The first one was a snow white dragon, which might be luminor and the second was pitch black one, which might be grimor. The dragons dissappear, and we could see Ashley and Matthew in its place.

I look at the griever. It's health reduces rapidly, decreasing it to less than half. Lucas collapses, with his energy completely drained. The griever stands back once more.
