Chapter 6: The Home of the Brave

Arturia's POV:

It's been 3 hours since we've came to America, and it turns out that we've been teleported in a place in this country name Arkansas. Rin told Gilgamesh to take us here because she knows a friend who lives in Arkansas. Her name is Loa. It so happens to be that Rin and Loa classmates and friends as children. "Ugh! How long until we get there?" Gilgamesh asked as we walked on the sidewalk. We were in a neighbourhood with a lot of mansions. "We should be getting there. Her house number is 313," Rin said as she lead our group. "312... 313!" Rin said as we stopped in front of a mansion. The mansion was in a dead end.

It was bigger than the other mansions in this neighbourhood. Everything but the door and roof was a crimson red. The door and roof were black. There was a gold peep hole in the middle of the door that was gold. There wasn't a buzzer, so Rin knocked on the door twice. No response. She knocked three times, but there still was no response. "Our you kidding me? Does anyone even live here?" Gilgamesh asked. "Just wait. She'll come," Rin assured Gilgamesh. So we waited. And waited. And waited until this silence was getting aggravating.

"Rin, are you sure she's hear?" I asked her. "Yes! She should be here! Okay?" Rin said. And with that, we waited. Again. A little while later, I saw that Rin was starting to get mad. "Ugh! Open the door!!!" Rin said. Her magic circuits showed on both of her legs as she kicked open the door with one of them. Well, she didn't kick it open... She kicked it down.

"Good job, Rin. I thought the only things that you were good at was getting angry and being bossy. It turns out, you're good and getting angry, being bossy, AND kicking down doors," Gilgamesh said as he walked inside the mansion. "Dang it! I didn't try to kick the door down! Loa's goimg to be SOO mad!" Rin said as she picked up the door and tried to fix it.

"Yeah. Who wouldn't get mad because someone kicked open their door?!" A voice asked Rin as it got closer. We couldn't see it well because the whole mansion was pitch black. "I didn't try to kick it down. I thought that it would just- wait. Who said that?!" Rin asked as she realized that I didn't asked that question.

"You don't remeber me, Rin?" The voice asked as she got closer to us. "Loa?" Rin asked the voice. "You know it," she said as she finally got into the light of the sun. She was had pale skin, and crimson red hair that almost looked black and went down her back. It looked really messy. She had honey eyes and wore a black robe over herself and baby blue slippers.

"Loa!" Rin said as they both hugged each other tightly. "Long time no see," Loa said as they kept their hug. Then Loa pulled away and said, "What's been happening? Do finally have a boyfriend?" Loa asked her. Rin's face was as red as a tomato. "NO!!!" Rin said then looked away. "H-how about you? What's been happening with you?" Rin said bashfully and looked at Loa again. "Well, I've been keeping my eye on someone for a LONG time," Loa told Rin. Rin's face got even redder. I didn't think that it was possible for a person's face to get that red until I saw Rin's face. "You know what? We don't need to be here. Let's go, guys," Rin said as she started to leave. "Wait! No! Don't leave! You just got here," Loa said. "We don't need to be here," Rin said coldly. "Please don't leave? I haven't seen you in a long time. And plus, I want to get to know your other friends that you brought with you," Loa said. There was silence. "Okay. We'll need to stay here for a few days. But, you already know that there are conditions about our stay. Right?" Rin told Loa. "Of course," Loa said. Looks like something happened the last time they saw each other. "So, welcome to my home everybody. I hope that you enjoy your stay," Loa said as she gave us a welcoming yet poisonous smile.
