(Child Arc, Grey's POV. Inspired by how people used to dig up bodies and thought they were vampires because of longer hair and nails, bloated stomachs, and blood at the corners of their mouths.)

One morning, Grey woke up and found Leo bundled up in a pile of blankets. The young boy was still as stone, no breath in his chest, nor a pulse in his neck.

Knowing that it was normal for vampires to look dead when they slept, Grey remained calm. He couldn't help but be a little bothered, though, seeing his brother looking as though he had died. He looked closely at his face. It was pale and motionless, the only color being spots of dried blood at the corners of his mouth.

"He must've been out hunting last night," he sighed, "You gotta stop doing that all alone, kid, you could get hurt."
