"No! You can't go! Why does it have to be you, Jacobis?!" Lilitha yelled at me after she recovered from using too much aura from stalling the ooze. "Why should it not be me though? I am one of the most powerful of all the apprentices, and I have the knowledge of the human world." I explained looking away from her. If I couldn't tell already, she isn't liking me going down to Earth to save us and Master from impending doom. "Jacobis! Look at me when I'm yelling at you!" she yelled at me pushing me with a bit of force. I stumbled back before regaining my balance before I slowly turn to her. On her face was the look of confusion, hurt, but most of all worry. Lilitha looked as if she is about to break down at any second. The clenching of both of her fist is a strong indication she was about to punch me if I say something half-assed. I took a breath and let out a harsh sigh. "I want to go to Earth, I want to learn more about its people. Not just from a watching them from above or from reading about them in a book." I say to her looking into her brown eyes seeing myself reflect from them. Lilitha moved toward me putting her hands on my shoulders. She calmed down, and with a caring voice she asked me again, "But why Jacobis? What will you get out of it when you do? You keep saying it is to learn about humans, but I know your lying to me. You just been task to save the entire Realm of Time and Earth, but you're treating it like a field study." as she said that her hand grip my shoulders harder. I looked around us. The eyes of all the other apprentices by the way was making this so much more dramatic than it already should be. We were still in the Master's Chamber with nowhere to go so even if they didn't try to look, it is the only thing to look at other than Master slowly dying which nobody wants to look at that. Lilitha slowly slinks here head down. As for her question, I... just couldn't give her an answer, because honestly I'm not sure of my true motive. I just stayed silent looking at her. That's when something inside me felt something sharp against my chest. I didn't understand it nor did I mind it, but I felt like I did something wrong. Lilitha proceeded to draw closer to me until my chest was against hers. Pulling her arms around my back as her cheek brush my face. Her hair slightly in my face, but it feels soft. This hug she is giving me is so warm, is it maybe because I never been hugged before that I find this so strange? "Fine you idiot, go to Earth and while you're at it save us all if you have time. Just...just be careful okay. I don't want to lose you before we all perish. Remember this though, The truths, lies and people down there have their reasons to exist, unlike us up here who are lost to the tales of time. Don't acquire knowledge that is too much to handle." she whispered to me as she hugs me. Before I had time to respond, she came off of me backing up. Her arm went over her eyes as she ran off into the crowd of apprentices leaving me standing there. "Lilitha..." I mumble before reached my hand at her direction. Where did I go wrong? Where...Where...am I?

I come back to reality looking around seeing that I'm in a blank white void. There is nothing around me except an never ending bright white. "Where am I?" I mumble. I look around the area trying to find that Altered-Human who brought me here. I don't seem him anywhere though. I keep my guard up as I just stand there now trying to focus. "So...who are you?!" I yell at the void looking for an reaction. Not to my surprise however, it answered back. "Better question is where am I?" the similar voice echoes throughout the room with a playful tone. "Oh you think that is challenging for me to find out? That's quite simple your right there" I point to the slight hard to see camouflaged silhouette to my left a few feet away. "Now I'll ask again who are you?" I ask again. "Oh wow you're pretty good at this." The person says coming out the camouflage. Now that I have a better look at him I know what he looks like. He seems to be around my age with narrow but straight blonde hair that lengths to his face, light skin tone with that looks a bit like he been in the sun so he has a tan. I was right to say he is still taller than me by a few inches. His clothes gives him away to be one of the apprentices of the Upper Air Realm with their purple apprentice robe badly tucked under his ember red jacket he has on. You can clearly see it sticking up out his collar and from under his jacket. Something is off about him with his posture and his eyes though. He seems very tired because around his eyes he has baggy eyes and he is slouch down with his hands in his pocket. He seems too laid back for someone with this much powerful aura. "Well I'm not an rude person, I just brought us here to talk properly without everyone's eyes on us. The name's Nathan, nice to find you." he says putting his hand out like I am expected to shake it. "Nathan? That's a weird name for someone not from this realm?" I question in confusion. Nathan just starts to laugh hard holding his stomach. Ha! Well that's because I didn't want to stand out down here so I picked an Earth name as my cover. Didn't you? Here give me your name and I'll help you." Nathan says taking a seat on the ground. Not understanding what is with this guy is really starting to lower my excitement that I had before. "Why should I tell you?" I snicker at him. "Well because you said if I got from behind you would tell me so c'mon man."  he says getting sad. He does have a point, I did say that. "Fine my name is Jacobis, Apprentice of Master Chronos." I announce my title to him. After I told him he closed his eyes and started thinking. "Hmmmm then your Earth name should be Jacob! Sounds good right." he says excited like a light bulb went off in his head. "Jacob?" I say feeling insulted. "Hey, that's a nice name don't get too upset." Nathan says getting up now. He yawns very loudly as he does though making me even more displeased. "So what do you want? What do you want to talk about?" I question him walking up to him. He close his eyes to think again. "Do you close your eyes every time you think?" I ask him raising my aura. "Yeah it keeps me focus on what I need to think about and will you stop trying to attack me I just wanna talk." he says opening his eyes lazily as he pulls his hand out his pocket gesturing to me to stop moving. Ignoring his words I keep getting closer till I'm up in his face. "If you don't wanna talk without bring me here to talk then you must want a fight." I smile at him. "I n-never said that man, that sounds like too much work which I don't wan-" not wanting to hear his excuse I throw a punch at him as he leans to the right dodging it with effort. Huh, that was too fast like it was an delay by my part. I quickly jump back now rising my aura in defense. "What was that?" I look around the void again. "Oh it seems you could tell. That is one of many abilities of this skill which allows me to sense any movement in this room. Hmph, maybe a fight is what we need after all to have a proper talk then since you don't want to listen." Nathan says raising his aura as well to match mine. My true name is Nathviathan, Worst Apprentice of Master Aether. Nice to meet you too ya jerk."
