You and Huey has been dating since the middle of freshman year.
Even before you two were dating, you knew he has never been the one to be so affectionate. So it was quite a surprise when he held you hand in public and hugged you every so often.
You two were known as the best couple in the school, basically he was your ying and you were his yang.
It's now coming close to the senior prom at Woodcrest High.
Were you expecting him to take you to the dance?
No... it would be nice but you weren't expecting his to take you and you don't like to force him to do stuff he's not comfortable with. Besides you actually made plans with some of your friends to go to the dance since Cindy was going with Riley and Jazmine was going with Caesar.
It was during lunch when it all happened.
"Hey Y/N, where's the rest of the gang?" Jazime asked as she took her normal seat across from you.
"Oh I don't know." You said looking around realizing that it was just you sitting at the able.
Suddenly a bunch of confetti and balloons came down from the ceiling and you though, here we go with another promposal.
"Y/F/N Y/L/N!" You suddenly heard booming across the cafeteria. Everyone in the cafeteria look at you and you stood up to see Huey at the entrance holding a bouquet of flowers and a huge sign above him with bold letters saying: will you go to prom with me?
"I love you so much babe, please go to prom with me!" He exclaimed and you instantly got up and ran to him.
You ran right into his embrace and yelling yes. Everyone cheered as you kissed and them more confetti were dumped on the both of you. Once you two separated you looked up to see Riley and Cindy high-fiving with Caesar holding a bucket.
"I love you too." You said back.
