"Seriously, Ollie. You have to come out and do stuff with us eventually. You can't let one person ruin your life," Matt said, sounding exasperated.

I looked up at him from my position on the couch. "I know, Matt. And you're right. But it hurts. I can't take it anymore."

"Zacky hasn't come out of his house since the incident and he refuses to speak to anyone," he blurted.

I sat up, eyebrows furrowed. "What? Really?"

He nodded.

"Oh my god, is he alright? No one has gone inside to check up on him?" I questioned.

"He locked all the doors and windows. He won't let anyone in, and we can't break in," he explained.

I brushed my fingertips over my lips, trying to take in this whole situation. "Please, make sure he's alright. Try and do that for me, please? I need to know he's alright."

Matt nodded, placing a hand on my shoulder. "I will. Don't worry, I'm sure he's okay. I'll make sure of it, too."

I stood, hugging him tightly. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, Ollie." And with that, he walked out.

I sure hope Zacky's alright.

Zacky

Knock knock.

I ignored whoever it was, hoping they'd get the hint and go away.

Knock knock.

"Go away!" I shouted. My voice was hoarse from not talking for so long.

Knock knock.

"Okay! Okay! I'm coming!" I called. I opened the door to see Matt. "What? I don't want to talk to anyone."

He pushed past me and into the house. "Ollie wants to know if you're okay."

I was shocked to say the least. "She wants to know if I'm okay? Why does she all of a sudden care for me? She just called me a lowlife, remember? She blew up at me. And now she cares about me?"

"Zack will you just shut up for once?!" He shouted. "She cares about you, a whole lot. She shouldn't, and she knows she shouldn't, but Zack, I think she loves you. She only blew up at you because the things you have said and done just got too much for her and she finally lost it. Can't you see it?"

I was stunned. She...loves me? "Matt, I don't know. I'm scared...I'm scared that if I were to quit this act and finally allow myself to love her back, I'll get hurt."

"You have to stop thinking about yourself for once on this one. Because she's in love. And so are you, but you're trying to force it away. We both know Ollie, and we both know she would never hurt you. You have to have a little faith, trust her," he convinced.

I let his words sink in. "I think I just need a little time away from her. She may be in love with me, but she'll need a little bit of time to recover from...everything."

Matt smiled. "Now you're thinking about her feelings, it's about time. Don't take too long."

For the first time in a few days, I cracked a smile. "I won't."

"Ollie," Matt called as he entered my house.

I jumped up and met him at the door. "How is he? Is he alright?"

Matt chuckled. "Yes, hes okay."

"Oh thank he lord," I said, sighing out of relief.

"Do you love him?" He asked suddenly.

Hesitantly, I nodded. "I...I do. I'm in love with him."

Matt smiled at me. "You two would be cute together."

I felt a blush creep up my face. "You really think so?"

"Mhm," he hummed, turning around and headed toward the door. "And, I think he does, too."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I called, but he had already shut the door behind him.
