Secretive - Chapter 1 

 Sauli's POV 

 I love the first day of school, everyone meets with their friends from last year and finds out who's in their classes.  

I'm meeting with my friends right now, we all have lockers really close to each other, so it's easy to find them in the crowd of students 

 "Hey Sauli!" 

 "Hi Tommy! I haven't seen you in so long, how was your summer?"

"It's was pretty great, I hung out with Danielle and Terrance a lot, but you never gave us your number so we couldn't invite you." 

 "Sorry about that, the end of last year was crazy for me, with sports and academics, everything got out of hand." 

 "Nah, it's fine, I understand. So are you gunna play football this year?" 

 "I don't know, my mom really wants me to focus on my grades this year, but I love football, so I might have to pull out the begging card, and plus I haven't gotten any taller since last year so I might not even get in." I laughed.  "Are you though? You were great too, you won us the last game last year." 

 "Aw, don't worry, you'll get in. You're awesome at it, the coach won't pass up a player like you, and I wouldn't have caught the ball if you didn't pass it as great as you did, and if you do it, I'll do it. We work together as a team and we do great, but to be honest.. we suck alone." 

 I laughed "Yeah, we kinda do. So have you seen Danielle or Terrence today?" 

 "Terrence had to change his schedule so he could have lunch with all of us, and Danielle should be here soon, she might be with Brad." He rolled his eyes 

 "She's still with him?" 

 "Yep. He cheated on her twice over the summer and she still won't let him go." 

 "Wow, she's gunna get really hurt one day, but we gotta stick by her when that day comes." 

 "Yeah..So Sauli? Have you found anyone yet?" 

 "No, and I'm not really looking." 

 "Why not? There has to be some closeted guy in this school. Ever since you came out, a lot of people have had so much respect for you Sauli, you should show people that you're serious." 

 "I know." I closed my locker "But I don't really want one, you know? It's a lot of work, and I already have a lot on my plate this year." 

 "Well...I guess you're right. Oh! Here comes Terrence!" 

 He walked towards us and him and Tommy did their signature handshake 

 "What's up Sauli?" 

 "Nothen much. Summer was okay, what about yours?" 

 "It was fun, really fun if you know what I mean." He laughed 

 "Have you seen Danielle?" Tommy asked 

 "Yeah, I saw her and Brad a few minutes ago, she said that she'll meet up with us at lunch. So what do you have now?" 

 "I'm heading to the third floor for science." 

 "Oh god, you gotta walk to the third floor every day for first period. That sucks dude, But I'm pretty sure Danielle has that now too."" 

 "Yeah I know." I agreed "I just hope the teacher is nice, and at least there will be someone I know" 

 "Well I have gym first, so I'll see you guys later." 

 "See ya Terrence." We waved him goodbye
