 Sauli’s POV

 When I walked out to the bleachers full of cheering parents and students, I saw him talking in the huddle of players, I’m not including myself because I’m gunna be on the bleachers for awhile…

 I sat down and looked towards the opposing team, they all seem really tough and very confident, but they’re all meat heads so it’s pretty easy to tell that the have no strategy.

 “Hey Sauli? Why are you on the bench?” Danielle came up to me and asked

 “Coach told me to sit out for awhile.”

 “Oh well, you’ll be out there soon, you’re awesome!”

 “So have you told Tommy yet?”

 "No, I’ve been ignoring him.”

 “You won’t be able to hid it from him for that long Dani, he’s gunna put the pieces together. Once you’re not in school he’ll realize what’s up.”

 “I know, but he’s not ready to know yet, I’ll tell him soon.”

 “Can I tell you something Dani? But you have to shut up about it, so don’t tell anyone.”

 “Sure, what’s up?”

 “We kissed…” I whispered

 “You kissed?!” She screamed

 “Shh!” Thank god it’s really loud out here

 “With Lambert?”

 I nodded

 “Holy shit Sauli!…how was it?”

 “So good, I swear his lips came down from heaven.”

 “So what now? Are you…together?”

 “I don’t know, I have to see what happens next.”

 “Keep me posted! I gotta go now, please win for us Sauli!” She laughed

 I nodded

 As the game went on, you heard the cheers from the crowd and also the failure “boo’s”. The other team is winning by a few points, but I don’t think there’s enough time to get another touchdown.

 “Koskinen!” Coach yelled “Go in, and tell Ratliff to come to the bench.” He yelled but he didn’t but didn’t even look at me.

 “Alright!” Finally, I put on my helmet and ran into the field 

 “Tommy, coach said to go in.”

 “What? No! I’m the best one here!”

 “Well he wants me in so we can win, so get to the bench.”

 “I can win on my own! Go sit back down Sauli, you’ll ruin us the game!”

 “Tommy! Just go! We need to win and you standing here isn’t making it possible!”

 He pushed me “I can do it myself!”

 I pushed him down to the ground “No you can’t!” 

 “Fuck you!” He swung a punch after mine, I hit him in the stomach and everywhere else as he tried doing the same

 “What the hell is wrong with you two?” Coach yelled “Are you kidding me? Koskinen, come with me now. Ratliff, finish the damn game!”

 Tommy jumped back up on his feet and slammed into my shoulder when he walked away with a dirty look
