 The next morning I felt like utter shit... 

 "Sauli!" My mom yelled from downstairs "Me and your father have work, we'll be back around five, there's money on the table for pizza!"

 "Okay! Bye!" 

 I heard my dads footsteps 

 "Son, don't have anyone over."

 "Oh don't worry, I won't."

 He nodded and left

 I just want to lay down in my bed with shame

 I feel really bad about what I said to Adam..

 I want to call him one more time 

 "Hello?" He said with a kinda cute morning voice

 "I'm sorry.."

 "I know. You didn't know, it's okay."

 "No it's not, I wanted you to put me first when your mom needs to be first."

 "Sauli-"

 "Hold on, I'm genuinely sorry Adam-"

 "Sauli stop! Or I'm gunna hang up again!" He laughed and cleared his throat

 “Okay, okay..”

 "I know you're sorry, and I said it's okay, so it's okay."

 "Okay..well my parents just left for work until five, but you have work to do, so.."

 "I actually lied about that, I just didn't want to tell you my actual plans."

 "Which are?"

 In embarrassment, he said "I have to go to my brothers wedding today, to be honest I thought it'd be me first." He laughed

 "Oh. Well can you have a guest?"

 "I most certainly can. Okay, hold on." He cleared his throat one more time "Sauli, would you like to be my special guest at my brothers wedding?"

 "I would love too. So, I'm not trying to sound like a jerk or anything, but are you alone at your house then, since your moms in the hospital and all."

 "Yes, Sauli. Do want to come over?"

 "Hold on, let me call you back."

 I hung up and got straight on a call with my dad

 "Sauli?"

 "Dad, Can I go to party, I promise I won’t be drinking or anything, trust me."

 "Hmm..sure. But curfew is ten, any later and you're not going out until you're forty."

 "Thank you dad! I promise, before ten!"

 I hung up and got back on the phone with Adam

 "Yes. I’ll come over."

 "Great. I'll be there in like thirty minutes, I still have to get ready."

 "Okay, bye, see you in a bit."

 I got dressed, brushed my teeth, did my hair, and didn't even bother to eat. I just stood by the window and waited until I saw his car

 When he pulled up, I ran quickly outside and into his car

 "Hey!" I kissed him

 "Hey."

 He put the car into gear and we headed back to his apartment
