Jimin took a shower after practice. Then, went to the cafe and looked around for Namjoon. Spotted.
Namjoon pulled Jimin's seat back for him and Jimin looked confused but sat down. Does Namjoon think Jimin is a girl? Or was he just being polite? Jimin shrugged it off. He's overthinking everything.
"Hey my friend will be coming soon. Do you mind?"
"No. But mine is coming soon also. We come here everyday after we're finished with everything." Jungkook and Jimin always met afterschool and this year they would meet at the cafe.
Namjoon nodded.
"Well now we have only a few minutes to our selves Jimin"
Namjoon saying Jimin's name gave Jimin unusual feeling in his stomach.
Jimin felt his phone vibrate.
- Jungkook: I was talking to the beautiful boy. And I told him I was going to the cafe and he told me he was too. So now we're walking to the cafe together. Jungkook: JIMIN YOU BETTER BE THERE RIGHT NOW. I CANT BE ALONE. -
"So who was that?"
Jimin put his phone down and looked at Namjoon.
"Jungkook."
"Your friend? The one you were with yesterday?"
"Yeah."
"By any chance is he in a class with Seokjin? Or mentioned anything about it."
"Yeah he is."
"Interesting."
"Do you or your friends like him by any chance?"
"He's cute I'll say" Namjoon smiled.
Jimin nodded. But it broke his heart a little. Did Namjoon like Jungkook? He said he was cute. Isn't that enough proof? Is it all in Jimin's head? People did try to get close to Jimin only to end up with Jungkook.
The door chimes rang. Jimin looked to the side and it was Jungkook with Seokjin. Jungkook has the biggest smile while looking at Seokjin completely in love. Seokjin didn't notice. The boys grabbed chairs from an other table and sat down next to Jimin and Namjoon.
Jungkook still smiling.
Jimin felt jealous. Why couldn't he have anything like that? He looked down at his lap. Namjoon noticed unfortunately.
"Jin meet Jimin."
Jimin looked up.
"Ah wallet guy."
"Yeah" then Jimin looked away.
- After that the three boys had a long conversation. Jimin felt excluded. Jungkook fit right in.
'Is this how Jungkook would have been without me?' Jimin's thought. The whole time Jimin kept thinking pessimistically while drinking coffee. Not saying a single word. But a million in his mind.
A sudden urge to text his ex boyfriend/ friend about ordering a pizza for tonight. Jimin still loved him but they couldn't be together. They broke it off a year ago but decided to be friends. His ex found a new friend group but still hangs out with Jimin and Jungkook sometimes. Jimin never told Jungkook about this.

Jimin: Hey
Ex: Hi Jimin. I'm at work. What do you want?
Jimin: I can't say hello to a friend?
Ex: I'm sorry. Just so sudden.
Jimin: I'm sorry. Can I just order a small cheese pizza?
Ex: 6.50
Jimin: Ok Jimin: I miss you.
Ex: Don't do this right now Jimin. Ex: You can't do this right now. Ex: Please don't do this.
Jimin: Your right. I shouldn't have. Jimin: I'll be there in 10. I want to talk to you though.

Jimin shouldn't have done it. Because now he felt like crying. The others didn't notice since he was looking down at his screen. Like he has been for the past 30 minutes. The only emotion Jimin could express was crying but only when he was alone, and a fake smile only in photos.
Jimin stayed for 30 minutes and remained silent. He just wanted to go talk with someone one on one. His ex was always good to talk to. After all, he was the only one who had seen Jimin smile. The first in 10 years.
