Pirates Ye Be Warned

A strong wind makes it's way across the water, flags flailing along and a push to the sails of ships of all kind. A man, looking to be in his late twenties to early thirties with a black and brown tricorn hat and a strap for his sword, could be seen on top of a mast, the sun yet to rise behind him. His appearance is rugged and worn, the clothes of a pirate donning his being. Tan, dirty skin and thick brown hair that is in dreadlocks, beads and feathers in it along with his beard that was parted into two and his mustache untamed.  The wind whips his hair around his face along with what seemed to be the ends of a red bandana that lied underneath his leather tricorn, which had little x's stitched on the sides. His dark brown eyes laddened with black make up seemed to look ahead with confidence most men wished they had. Upon looking down, he twitched his upper lip in annoyance and grabbed a rope that would bring him down the mast and wasn't attached to anything.

Grabbing the rope tightly and wrapping it around his arm, he jumps down from his position and lands in water that seems to be filling his boat, which turns out to be a small little thing that you wouldn't expect for a man such as he. He bends down to pick up his sword and puts it at his side before heading to one side of the boat and grabbing a bucket, going to the other side to dump out water that leaks into his small mode of transportation. Upon doing so, he begins to pass by an arch of rocks with a wooden beam placed in the middle, the rocks seeming to form around the ends to hold the beam in place. From the beam were six pieces of rope that wrapped around it many times before the ends hang from it over the cove's waters. From three of these ropes hang complete skeletons with little bits of what used to be their clothes stuck to their bones. Seeming disturbed yet intrigued by the sight, the pirate stands up quickly to get a better look while throwing the bucket off to the side.

From there, he could see that the other three ropes held up a poorly made wooden sign, one actually being a noose while only two actually held the sign that hung next to the last body, second in hight to the right. The body between that one and the first was the tallest and the first one on the left being the shortest. Upon a better inspection, the man takes off his hat and puts it over his heart as a sign of respect, realizing they were fellow pirates due to the sign saying 'PIRATES YE BE WARNED'. A clear threat to those like him that this would happen to any of his status if they crossed into the waters and land of this area. As the pirate finally passed by the daunting sight, he gives a sort of salute as a possible thanks for all the things the dead men may have done.

Many men in two row boats were passing things and animals to a man aboard a large ship, possibly a merchant one. Other row boats looked to be leaving the harbor while others were just coming in. The man moving things on to the merchant ship looks down in confusion at a bucket that was tied to something pulling it along. The men aboard the row boats and the ship look in the same direction in wonder and curiosity at the sight of the pirate, who was once again a top the mast. Tho, for a different reason. He had just reached the dock as his small boat finished sinking, the tip of the mast being the only thing not sumbmerged in the bay's waters. The man takes a large step onto the dock and starts to make his way around with a skip in his step. While walking, he passes a man with a registration book and a young African boy who seemed to be the assistant to said man.

"What -- hey." The man calld as the pirate passes by him,  making him stop and turn around to call to the pirate some more while telling the boy to wait a second.

"Hold up, there, you."

The pirate makes a quick turn around on one foot and makes his way back to the man who walks to the pirate with the boy following.

" It's a shilling to tie up your boat at the dock."

Once those words were said, both men turn to look at the tip of the mast that is seen next to the edge of the dock.
