It had taken a few hours, but Magnus had eventually calmed Isabelle down to the point of no tears. It wasn't easy. Isabelle is strong, but when all is lost, Isabelle, is just like everyone else. Scared, betrayed, and LOST.

As Isabelle and Magnus walked down the halls of the institute, Isabelle couldn't help but shed a tear or two, but no one could blame her if she did, so she didn't mind to. Suddenly, after what seemed as endless silence, Isabelle spoke.

"So how long are you staying?"

"As long as it takes." Magnus replied sincerely. Then he continued to speak.

"I told Alec before I left. That I was coming here. He said that he'd be back in about a week if all is well in Romania. I'll be here for you."

"Thank you Magnus. For everything."

Suddenly, Isabelle leaned over, and hugged Magnus once more, and Magnus didn't protest.

"Just please promise me something. Promise me, that you won't leave me alone."

"I promise."

Then Isabelle started walking down the hallway again, with Magnus in her stead.

"And by the way Magnus, I wanted to thank you for your advice you have me a while back. On writing my emotions down. It's really helped me."

"So... You started a journal?"

Isabelle simply nodded her head. When they got to Isabelle's bedroom door, Isabelle stopped.

"You can sleep on the sofa." She told Magnus. Then they entered her room.

"Thanks." Magnus said, as he threw himself onto the big black leather sofa that sat in front of the fire place. Isabelle's room had changed. What had once been colorful, and bright, looked eerily blackened.

"I'm going to go take a shower. I'll be back." Isabelle said.

The moment the door closed, Magnus got up. He himself, had no clue as to how he was going to cheer Isabelle up. He needed to find that journal.
