i said no 

i wasn't ready 

i was scared 

so i ran 

away from 

all our memories 

away from 

all our hopes and dreams 

and 

away from 

the future you thought 

we were going to have 

you chased after me 

calling , begging 

for me to stop 

it was too late 

at the road junction 

a car whizzed past 

and 

knocked 

you 

down

i stood over your body and 

let out a blood curling scream

the ambulance came and 

whisked us away 

all i could do was look at your 

still body and hope that you 

were going to be alright 

i waited outside the 

operating theatre for 

hours and 

hours
