Let's Talk.

It was a long, long ride to Mettatopia. The lions didn't have bathrooms or extra chairs, so Lance spent most of his time lying on the floor, rethinking his life choices. He'd come to the conclusion that yes, he had been an idiot, but there was nothing he could do to make it better now. As of today, he'd made a million and one mistakes. How was he going to try and heal that? Comedy.

"So, those tribe people." Lance said, trying to make himself sound as jolly as he could.
Allura's voice was much more monotone,
"Yeah? What about them?"
Lance sat up, and crawled closer to the pilot.
"They were pretty cool, weren't there?"
Lance swore he saw her crack a smile for a moment.

"I don't know cool is the right word, Lance."
"Well, they did crown me king, so if they're not cool they're..."
Lance couldn't think of another adjective to call them, meanwhile Allura watched him think, slightly amused.
Quiznak, why is he so pretty?
What?

"Funky! They're some funky little tribal people."
Allura chuckled at the joke, slightly confused on these new thoughts that raged through her mind. Obviously she was just commenting on his appearance, she couldn't have moved on so soon, right? Lance, on the other hand, was letting his mind wander on anything he could. Voltron, the stars, even how much he loved Allura. The pain of knowing she didn't like him back was nowhere near the pain of Earth being destroyed.

Soon enough, Lance couldn't hold it in anymore. He knew that getting back as soon as possible was important, but if he went on any longer, only bad things would occur.
"Allura?" He asked, "Can we stop off at a planet? I really need to pee."

Allura turned to Lance, and was greeted by his puppy dog eyes and pleading smile. Of course she said yes, but the same thoughts and feelings came back again. Her heart started beating faster, her smile grew wider, and butterflies started to fly in her stomach. She hates her mind, and what she was feeling, but she also couldn't stop.

The battle with Lotor was one movement ago. So what? Love has no boundaries. No, this isn't okay. I'm not letting you fall in love again. Look at him, he's beautiful, witty and smart. The only things you had in common with Lotor is that you were both Altean. No. Be quiet.

"Allura, you okay? Also, are we gonna stop? We've past like, three moons since you zoned out." Lance whined.
Allura snapped back into reality, yelling 'Oh!' as she did so, speeding towards a nearby moon so she wouldn't have to get the mop out the storage cupboard in her lion.

As soon as they landed, Lance stumbled out of her lion, and sprinted as fast as he could to find a suitable place to.. you know. Meanwhile, Allura sighed, and closed her eyes as she began to slouch in her seat.

"ALLUR... WHERE... YOU! WE .... HELP! WHE.... ARE YOU?"
Allura jumped at the sudden noise, her eyes wide at what she was seeing on the screen. Pidge was broadcasting to her, her lion sparking with electricity, making the audio static and cut out chunks of her words.
"Pidge!" She yelled, responding to the call immediately, "What happened?"
Pidge was hit by a blast, making her groan.
"THE GALRA.... BACK... HAGGAR WANTS REVEN.... LOTOR!"
Allura could only pick up parts of what Pidge was saying, but still knew what she had to do.
"We're on our way!"

The very moment the call ended, Lance came swaggering into the lion, humming to himself.
"Woah Allura, what's up? You look like you've seen a ghost!"
The Princess looked back at the red paladin, fear and deermination written all over her face.
"Sit down. We have to get back to your galaxy. Now."
