Satine still felt nauseous from time to time but today she had a different thing on her mind. Today she was going back to Mandalore, but the only thing on her mind was is she'll ever see Obi-Wan again afterwards. She had grown attached to him, she loved him and, even if it sounds cheesy, she couldn't imagine a life without him.

She was picking out one of her Mandalorian outfits to put on for the landing. She wanted her people to know that she's alive and well. She had a choice between 2, she tried to look more into the deeper meaning of the colours rather than how she actually looked in them, as politicians often did that. She held the gowns in her hands in front of a mirror, putting it in front of herself to see which one got her shuttle message across.

She wanted people to know she's compassionate towards them but also that she's strong enough to lead them. She was deciding between a light blue gown and a red one but she had no idea which one to go with.

Her state of mind about her feelings towards the  young Jedi were making this decision harder than it actually was. It distracted her. The man in question was leaning against the doorframe, sensing the nerves and worries radiating off her force signature.

"Are you alright Satine?" He asked, catching her by surprise as her head snapped to look at him. "Y...yes I'm fine thank you," She stuttered, how long was he standing there? She wondered. "You seem worried, are you sure you're alright?" He asked again. She sighed, he was exactly right. "I'm just worried about going back to Mandalore, my people need a strong leader to rebuild a crumbled society, yet here I am struggling to decide something as stupid as what to wear!" She answered, she felt like she wasn't capable of rebuilding her home. She began wondering if she asked Obi-Wan to stay with her, would he? Would he want to help her lead her people?

She decided it wasn't a good idea to ask, he might feel pressured to say yes and she didn't want to force him, but if he wanted to stay, she's welcome him with open arms.

"Let me see your options then," he said referring to the dresses. She turned away from the mirror to face him, holding the two garments in her hands. Obi-Wan stroked his chin, he wanted to make a good choice for her. He considered the meaning behind the colours but he mostly considered what she'd look better in. "The blue one I think, it shows you're compassion towards the people and also calmness despite the past circumstances." He stated, "but more importantly, I think you'd look beautiful in it, even though you're already breathtakingly beautiful."

She blushed a little at his last comment, but nodded considering his analysis on the gown. She knew she'd miss him when she returned home, but she'd have to survive with the hope of seeing again, to keep her going.

In the afternoon they landed on Mandalore. Satine was wearing the dress Obi-Wan recommended she should wear along with a beige hooded cloak to match. At the landing station she was greeted by her sister Bo (I know she's part of Death Watch but this is fanfiction ok, in this she's a spy in Death Watch for Satine) who hugged her affectionately. "Satine you're alive! I missed you so much!" Bo said to her sister.
"I've missed you too Bo, but I'm so glad to see you again," she said hugging her back. Obi-Wan allowed himself a little smile at the sisters' reunion.

Satine suggested the Jedi join in the welcoming  as a thank you for everything that they did for her. Bo noticed her sister's loving gaze at the young Jedi and immediately knew that there was something between them which made her begin to worry.

Satine sat in the escort ship next to her sister with her Jedi in shining armour behind her. They received a proper Mandalorian welcome, Obi-Wan was impressed. From everything Satine said he presumed her people would hate her but here they are welcoming her, cheering for her and now he felt she was tribally safe.

The escort ship took them all the way to the Palace, where it was time to say good bye to the Jedi. Satine was rather upset about this but tried not to show it. She hugged the Jedi Master thanking him for his help, then she turned to the Padawan. She thought she might cry when she embraced him lovingly. She whispered into his ear "thank you for everything, I'll never forget you." Obi-Wan smiled and hugged her back whispering "I'll never forget you either."

The 2 Jedi made their way out leaving Satine to feel quite empty, she missed him already, she wanted to run after him and stop him from leaving but couldn't bring herself to do it. Reality hit her hard, she might never see him again, and it was painful.

Bo put a hand on her sister's shoulder, trying to give her some sort of comfort. "I'm sure your paths will cross again someday," she said.
"I hope so," Satine replied.

~~Time skip~~4 hours~~
Bo noticed her sister's concerning health and sent her to their family's trusted doctor, she was also concerned because Satine couldn't visit a doctor since she left Mandalore so a check up would put her at ease. She was there for a while but her sister waited for her patiently.

Satine made her way back to her sister, trying to hold back her tears. As soon as she saw her sister she broke and they streamed down her cheeks. Bo instantly rushed to her side and hugged her while she sobbed.

Bo went with her to a living room as she sat next to her on the sofa. "Satine," Bo began "What's wrong?" Satine tried to steady her breathing and control her sobs. "I..." she hesitated "I'm pregnant." Bo's eyes widened, she didn't believe this could happen, and so soon too. "With who?" She asked.
"Obi-Wan, the Jedi Padawan who helped protect me," she said in between sobs.

Bo sat holding Satine's hand, absolutely speechless. After a bit of thinking she spoke "I have an idea," she began, "but you might not like it." Satine looked at her sister with confusion in her eyes. "Tell me. Bo please tell me!" She begged.
"I already had a child (Korkie, who's 1 year old coz why not) so we can say your child is mine," she suggested.
"I'm supposed to disown it?" Satine cried and her sister shook her head. "No, to the public it will be known as my child but it will know your their mother," she replied "I wouldn't make you disown it or get rid of it Satine." Satine nodded in agreement, it was the only way to not make her child a target to anyone who might want to kill her in the future or worse, causing her people to distrust her.

With that, Satine lived in hiding for 9 months in her Palace while Bo had a fake baby bump. It was a family secret that no one will find out about.

After 9 months Satine gave birth to a healthy baby girl, who she named Annabella. She had bright blue eyes and brown hair. Her eyes reminded Satine of Obi-Wan so much, they looked just like his, and the girl grew up showing signes of force sensitivity. She decided to keep their daughter a secret to Obi-Wan, to save his Jedi reputation.

With that, she lived a lie everyday.

A/N: ok so the prequel is done, it's pretty short I know but meh. The actual fanfiction will come out when I finish the one I'm working on now which is soon hopefully.
