The boys woke up only to find the train still moving...
And Hoseok gone.
"Where's Hobi?" Namjoon squeaked in fear.
They looked around the box car. He was gone.
"This isnt real. This isn't real. It can't be real. " Taehyung paces around in a circle. He was in pure panic.
Jimin began crying along with Seokjin. They couldn't find him anywhere.
Then Yoongi grew silent at a strange noise.
Singing.
He followed the sound carefully, being sure not to make any noise. And that's when he found that it was coming from the door. He walk to the entrance to listen to where the sound was coming from. The roof of the boxcar.
He was confused. The sky was full of cloud. It was a light purplish grey. The boys slept through the whole day.
Yoongi carefully climbed the ladder to the roof. The bars were ice cold. He cringed at the feeling. That's when he saw it.
Hoseok was seated on the roof. His feet under a bar for security. He sat looking into the distance. The train was moving slowly so the wind was lightly blowing in his hair. He didn't even notice Yoongi watching him in awe.
"Ho-Hoseok?"
Hoseok looked to his left to see his hyung looking at him. "Hyung! You're awake!"
Yoongi crawled over to Hoseok. The train was moving slowly, so Yoongi was able to get to him and take a seat next to him.
Hoseok began singing again. Yoongi looked into the distance. "You scared us, bro."
"Huh?" Hoseok looked at Yoongi.
"We thought you fell outta the train when we couldn't find you in there." Yoongi snapped.
Hoseok put his hands up defensively "I didn't mean to scare you, hyung. I just wanted some time alone."
Yoongi looked at his friend confusingly "Why? Why would you, of all people, wanna be lonely?"
Hoseok shugged and chuckled "Everyone needs alone time to think about stuff. I may be energetic and optimistic, but I need space too. Even the happiest souls have worries, Yoongi." He smiled showing his dimples, causing Yoongi to chuckle lightly.
Hoseok stared back into the distance with his friend. He lifted his arms up to his sides and closed his eyes. He could feel the wind in his brown hair and his jacket flopping in the breeze. He felt free. He felt relaxed.
He felt hopeful.
Yoongi took a paper out of his pocket.
Bogo sipda was written all over it.
Hoseok saw it and snatched it. "What's this, hyung?"
Yoongi scratched the back of his neck. "I wrote it when I was missing you guys at home. I guess I don't need it anymore though."
Hoseok looked at the paper and smiled. He then started folding the paper professionally. Yoongi could do nothing but watch in confusion. "What are you doing, Hobi?"
Hoseok didn't answer. He only stuck his tongue out as he concentrated on folding the paper.
Then he was done. A paper plane.
Yoongi looked at the miniature paper plane In confusion. Hoseok just smiled wide and held the plane delicately between his fingers.
Yoongi stared at the plane. Where is he going with this?
That's when Hoseok did it.
He threw the plane into the air. It maneuvered for a bit before gracefully soaring away.
Yoongi watched in awe as the air plane flew out of his sight.
Hoseok rested his head on Yoongi's shoulder and sighed happily. Yoongi did the same. They watched the clouds grow darker shades of grey, before only the soft glow behind the clouds remained.
Yoongi and Hoseok were great friends. Since they were way younger. Yoongi was Two years old. Hobi was just born. It was when Yoongi realised how much he liked babies.
"I think we should go back inside. I bet the others are worried sick." Yoongi chuckled.
Hoseok nodded and they crawled their way to the ladder.
When they made it inside, everyone dog piled over the two boys.
"WHERE WERE YOU TWO!?!"
"WE WERE SO SCARED!!"
"YOONGI HYUNG DON'T LEAVE ME EVER AGAIN!!"
"IF I WAS YOUR MOM, I WOULD GROUND BOTH OF YOU.!!!"
They all went to sit down in the corner again. Jin fumbled through his backpack and pulled out a bright neon green light.
Min Ki's jar of stars.
The fireflies within it danced around in the jar. The boys lay down as they drift off to sleep as they watched the fireflies swirl in the glass jar.
What the seven sleeping boys didn't know, was that something was about to happen.
Their adventure was like folded paper.
You'll never know what you could find when it unfolds.
