Seven panting little boys, with lost breaths and snow covered coats, sat on a train. The wagon was dark but empty. They were in a boxcar.
Everyone was sat at the back of the boxcar, patiently waiting for their next stop.
Namjoon got up and walked to the entrance of the boxcar and sat down. The wind blowing in his soft purple hair as he watched the hills of snow pass by. He let out a little chuckle which caught everyone's attention.
"What's so funny,hyung?" Taehyung giggled.
"We're like the boxcar children." Namjoon smiled to himself.
Jin rolled onto his back playfully, turning the view of everything upside down "But we aren't orphans."
Everyone laughed at Jin's statement. Well all except one.
Hoseok.
He had said a word when Jin said that. He felt... strange.
Jungkook looked at Hoseok with worried eyes. "Hobi-ah? What's wrong, hyung? "
Hoseok looked up. His hair was a bit messy from leaning on the wall. His eyes were heavy, and his heart was beating fast. "I'm fine."

Jimin was sat criss-cross applesauce by the entrance. He admired the scenes moving by. They were over a big, high and narrow bridge made of wood, a rather old Bridge. Jimin grew uneasy at the height and began to tremble madly and squirm. Yoongi rushed over to him and sat next to him to hold his hand.
The train rocked back and forth slightly, causing Jimin to panic and jump into his hyung's arms. He felt safer there. Yoongi looked below the train. A roaring river rushing down below them, icy cliffs separated by it. The light Grey clouds covering the sky like a cotton blanket. Hills of snow standing tall and proud. He took in the sight well, and so did the trembling Jimin.
"H-hyung?" Jimin whispered.
Yoongi hummed in response.
"We're a long way from home. Aren't We? "
Yoongi smiled and did what he always tpdid to Jimin.
He put his hat on Jimin's head.
Jimin giggled at Yoongi as he fiddled with his sleeves.
"I know we are Jiminie. But we'll go home soon. This is an adventure of a lifetime, y'know?" Jimin nodded softly.
"But it's sooo cold, and sooo long. But sooo fun." The younger smiled his last sentence, because it was true. Jimin had fun with all of his friends. He felt happy. Yoongi gave Jimin a little peck on the side of his head. Jimin didn't react. He blushed madly. Yoongi laughed at him.
"Jiminie, that's the kiss of strength. You now have my strength and will be brave for hyung, right?" Jimin blushed and smiled at his hyung and nodded quickly.
They then got up and walked to the back with the others.

" And that's why you should never EVER put a shoe in the fridge." Taehyung concluded his ridiculous story. Jungkook and Jin clapped as Yoongi scoffed " That was the dumbest story I've ever heard."
Everyone laughed at Taehyung's story. They were telling stories while they waited for the train to stop. Taehyung, Jin and Jungkook said theirs. Yoongi didn't want to, Jimin was too shy and Namjoon had nothing to say. They were left with just one option.
Hoseok.
"Hobi-ah, tell us a story." Jin smiled. Hoseok looked at his audience and sat up straight.
"Once there were two kids. A boy and a girl. Siblings!" Everyone was attentively listening to him, eyes sparkling, and ears listening. "They loved eachother dearly. They we had caring parents too. They..." Hoseok trailed off. He lost his smile for a few seconds before continuing. " They once heard their parents get into a fight. And it scared them, because on the same night, their parents were beaten and kidnapped, and never seen again. The two children jumped out the window and ran away. But the boy was really sad. He kept a heart-shaped locket around his neck. A locket his mom gave him as a present. It had his name on it, and a picture of him and his sister and his mother inside it. He kept it with him forever. His Sister and him went to an orphanage after that. After that, they were adopted by a kind and gentle family. Who they live with until now. They still live, by the way. They are happy and safe, and the boy still has that locket. He learnt to have faith. Love. And hope."
Everyone was drifting to sleep. Jin clapped "Bravo, Hobi!" He congratulated the boy. Hoseok just smiled. Soft snores filled the area as Hoseok sat and watched his friends sleep. A small smile plastered on his face. A heart shaped smile. He chuckled at his sleeping friends.
He missed all of the sleepovers they used to have. All the fun, and games and laughter they shared. He missed all of that.
As everyone drifted off to sleep, Hoseok was sat at the entrance. His feet dangling off as he dug through his backpack. That's when he found what he was looking for.
A heart-shaped locket with his name on it.
