Chapter 5: (Y) and Yuuto: Master Detectives

You were leaning against Touma's old house waiting for Yuuto.

"Why is he always so late?"

You decided he was too late and decided to go in on your own.

The place was pretty empty nothing odd yet, the place was dusty which meant Touma wasn't here for awhile 'Or maybe Touma is just bad at cleaning'

"I doubt anybody would be able to live in this house with so much dust... which could be a reason if he did kill himself"

You went upstairs and to Touma's bedroom, you didn't come here a lot but you came here enough to know the layout of his house.

There was nothing weird here either it seems he just disappeared.

You checked the closet there wasnt anything there 'oooh that means someone was here, right' right.

"At least that gives us a little bit of hope, but where is his phone?"

You heard a door creaking, you left the room grabbing a baseball bat with you 'why does he even have that, its not like his parents were here to play with him' thats insensitive.

You slowly mad your way downstairs you looked towards the front door, it was wide open, then you looked at the kitchen door.

You saw a figure looking for something the figure was dark, very dark then again so was the kitchen.

'Where is it... damn it, where the hell is that thing' you used your telepathy on the figure

You raised your bat above your shoulders ready to strike at the intruder.

"You picked the wrong house, fool!"

"Ohhhhhhhhhhh, it's you, the hell took you so long?"

"I... dont have an excuse this time"

"What were you looking for?"

"Touma's phone, it was on the kitchen counter last time I was here, did you take it?"

"Then who did?"

"I dont know but Touma's wardrobe upstairs didn't have any clothes in there, so could be he came back and took them"

"Right, well I searched the place nothing seemed odd about it, I think he just wanted to start a new life"

Currently you were kicking Yuuto's ass in Mario Party, I know Mario Party with two people sounds sad and it is, but at least (Y) wasnt playing it by himself, THAT would have been very sad.

"Let's CALL Touma on his phone, so when it answers we'll know whether or not it's Touma that has the phone or not"

"What if it doesnt answer?"

"Cause he might not answer if its mine"

"And he'll answer mine, why?"

"Dont worry, he doesnt have your number, you always use messenger"

"Oh... right" You gave him your phone

Now both, you and Yuuto were waiting for someone to pick up on the other side.

"Hello"

The person on the other side was definetly not Touma, the voice was feminine and smooth.

"Hello, who is this?"

"May I ask the same to you? You WERE the one that called first after all"

"Um... Is there someone there called Touma, maybe?"

The other side was silent

"He's... resting right now, I'm... his mother"

"Just fucking hang up" there was another voice this one much more raspy than the previous one

"Who was that?"

"That was... his other mother"

"Why didnt you say aunt or something"

You and Yuuto looked at each other, making sure you both heard it right.

"Could you maybe wake him up?"

"No can do, sorry but we gotta go, byeee" The raspy one said before hanging up

"Huh... I didn't know Touma was adopted" you said jokingly
