Chapter 22

Jack's POV:
I wake up to a leg wrapped across me and an hand tangled in my hair. I look over at Jamie who is sleeping peacefully on my chest. I didn't want to leave this position. Yes I felt hot and sweaty but I didn't mind because the girl of my dreams is right in front of me. I kissed her forehead and ran a hand through her hair that smelled like the apple shampoo in Ms.Herron's guest shower.

"Jack is that you?" I hear a voice call in a whisper.

"Good morning Sunshine" I say looking into her eyes

"Good morning" She says untangling her hand out of my hair and her leg off of me

"You ok?" I asked as she laid staring at the ceiling

"I don't want you to leave" She says

"Don't worry I'll come visit when I can and you can come to" I say trying to make her feel better about me leaving. "Trust me I don't want to leave either"

"I'm also hungry and wondering if my mom is here so you can finally meet her" she says

"Oh yeaaa I forgot about that. Let me get dressed really quick before" I say getting out of bed with only my boxers on

"Yea let me go put on some pants" She says also getting out of bed

I walk to my suitcase and pick out a black 'off' shirt with some white  pants and black vans.
I walked to the bathroom where Jamie was getting ready and brushed my teeth and quickly did my hair. Soon after Jamie and I walked downstairs.
Everyone was downstairs except for Zach. I greeted everyone except for Jamie's mom because Jamie had gone straight to her.

"Hey Mrs.Sanchez nice to finally meet you! I can't believe Zach got to meet you before me!" I say walking up to her

"I know Jack. It's great to finally meet you too" She says pulling me into a hug.

"So how have you been?" I ask

"Good how are you?" She asks

"Hanging in there" I say

"Oh and if you hurt Jamie's heart. I. Will. Break. You. Understand?" She says flashing me a smile at the end.

"Yup mhm!" I say quickly before nodding and walking towards Ryan who had a box of cereal.

"That was scary" I tell him.

I walk to where Jamie was eating her cereal and talking to Reese.

"Whataup Noodles.. eww that sounds weird coming from my mouth.. you say it" She says

"Whataup Noodles" I say making her laugh

"Yea lets keep that out of our vocabulary" she says

"Soo umm I met your mom.. she's a charmer!" I say sarcastically

"Aww is poor Jacky scared of my Mommy" she says with a baby voice

"Pftttt no" I say walking away

Jamie's POV:
I finished my cereal and went up to my room. Jack was laying on the bed on his phone.

"Whatcha doing? Looking at pictures of Aspen?" I ask

"Never.. only of you" he says showing me his screen.

It was a picture of me eating ice cream

"What! When did you take this!" I ask

"When you weren't looking" he says a smile creeping on his face.

"Ok but talking about pictures with Aspen. Did you guys.. um.. ever date?" I ask scared of what the outcome would be

"No Jamie.. why would you think that?" He asks
