Chapter 38

Jacks POV:
                     I wake up before anyone else and decided to just go on my phone. I check Instagram and see that there have been a bunch of screenshots of comments on Jamie's post from Cameron. I quickly find his account and decide to DM him.

Jack
Hey bro I would really appreciate if you stopped commenting on my girlfriends posts. Your making her really upset and it's just not right...

Cameron
Who tf are you?? Jamie doesn't have a boyfriend... your just lying. I'm Jamie's boyfriend and that's that

Jack
I don't wanna have to get Jamie involved in this but I will if I have too... please just back off a little alright

            I exit out of the chat and decide to post a good morning message on my story. I take a quick picture of Jamie and I and post it with the caption "Morning 😋 Hope you have a good day! From J and J... Jamie and Jack"
I go on my phone for a bit until I decide to get up and make breakfast for everyone before I have to go to sound check. I make eggs bacon and pull out some cereal just in case things didn't go the way I wanted them too.

"Hey Jack! I didn't know you could cook?" My mom says coming downstairs

"Yea well when your with Jamie 24/7 on a small tour bus you learn a thing or two" I say laughing

"Jamie knows how to cook?" I hear my mom ask

"Yea... well... kinda" I say smiling

"I'm really proud of you Jack" my mom says

"Really! But I haven't done anything to make you proud" I say confused

"Yea you have! You are such a talented young man ! You found this wonderful woman and I hope you never let her go! Your performing and on tour! I don't know what else to ask for! You know it's a shame that Jamie doesn't have a family to care for her. I just wish that her parents would see what I see in her" my mom says looking back at Jamie who was sleeping on the couch

"Yea I know it's sad and her life has been tough... and I'm just trying to make it easier for her but I'm not sure I'm doing a good job at that" I say

Jamie's POV:
I could hear Jack and his mom talk about me. I wanted to hear the rest so I kept on pretending like I was sleeping.

"Jack your doing an amazing job! I'm sure she loves you and right now she needs you more than ever... I do think that you guys spend a lot of time together though. If you ever have to go on tour and she can't come it's gonna be hard for you guys to be apart." I can hear Kristin say

"What are you saying?" He asks

"I think that either you guys have to take a break or you have to go on a vacation with out her for a while" and with that she leaves

I slowly get up from the couch and I see momma walking back up to her room. I smile at her and then turn to Jack who looked sad while making eggs and bacon. I walk over and sat down.

"Hey babe" I say smiling

"Hi Jamie" he says not looking at me

"Are you ok?" I ask

"Umm no, I'm actually not" he says

"What's wrong?" I ask again

"I think we should take a break" he blurts out

"Oh..." I say a tear dropping down my face

"I'm sorry Jamie... my mom said that it's gonna be hard when I'm not around you and I think she's right. My tour is continuing and they are adding more dates and new places. I-I just don't know how- how we could make this work" he says trying to explain himself.
