Chapter 18

It was too hot, I never get too hot in my room because of my window always being open and the covers on my bed being thin to keep me cool but this morning it was too hot. I moved my arm out of the sheets and threw them off me but it still didn't make a difference so I tried to move but a weight was holding me down. I sighed as I turned over to try another position when I came face to face with Jungkook who was still asleep, his light breaths fanned against the edge of my nose as he exhaled. It was quite comforting as the tingles in my body started to develop again, my waist was numb but on fire at the same time as I glanced down and saw his hand resting on the curve of my hip. My breath caught in my throat as I turned my body and stared at the ceiling wondering what I should do about the situation I was in. "Stop moving..." an irritated yet murmured voice came from Jungkook as he shuffled closer to me wrapping his entire arm around me while the other one was behind my head. I froze and a long breath he released brushed against my neck and shoulder. "Better..." he mumbled still with his eyes closed, at least he seemed to be in an unconscious state so he would not remember any of this when he wakes up. I turned my head around to look at my bedside table and saw my phone on the edge, I didn't want to disturb the hard-working boy so I edged myself over slightly so my fingers could clasp around it. I opened my messages but before I could type anything to ask AJ for help in my position the hand around my waist moved to my hands holding my phone and pulled it from me only to throw it at the end of the bed. "Go back to sleep..." the deep ness of Jungkook's voice finally came out as I turned to face him again. His black orbs were now staring directly into mine. He lifted his head and his hair stuck up in all directions before he turned around to grab his phone and checked the time. "My alarm goes off in ten minutes so go back to sleep until then." He breathed sleepily as his arm snaked into its original position around my waist and his eyes closed again.

I couldn't think straight, the heat from his body made my mind turn to mush as I didn't dare move. I continued to stare at the ceiling while thinking about the past few days of training and how exhausting it's going to get over the course of our careers, we'll have little time to ourselves and little privacy if we are popular. "You haven't slept yet." Jungkook's voice made me jump and I nearly fell off of the bed but he grabbed me before I did. "I can't sleep after I've been awake for a period of time." I told him and he nodded while unfolding himself from around me, I stood up and stretched out as a delicious smell came from the door. Me and Jungkook made eye contact and I instantly knew he smelt it too so I glanced towards the door before back at him, within a second we had both sprinted for the door and ran down the stairs almost tripping over each other until we got to the bottom. The smell was coming from the kitchen so we both approached the room quietly.
"Do I put it in now?"
"No! You gotta prepare it first."
"Hyung! She said wait before you do anything."
"Well I did prep it. See... it's oily."

Me and Jungkook stopped and stared at each other with horrified expressions, what the hell were they doing in there? "Okay... I cover your eyes and we both walk in." Jungkook announced as he stepped behind me and put his hands over my eyes, we both took small steps into the room when Jungkook yelled out. "Okay! There are children in the room now! I hope you guys aren't doing anything dirty!" I just chuckled as the complaining stopped, Jungkook uncovered my eyes and I instantly saw Suga, Namjoon and AJ around two frying pans with ingredients in their hands. I sighed in relief and sat at the table as the three older people just pulled confused faces at me and Jungkook. "We were cooking breakfast." AJ stated as she turned back to the pan nearest to her. "Yoongi! It's gonna burn if you leave it like that, flip it." She complained and he complied, flipping the thing in the pan over. "Okay... they're done." AJ announced placing whatever they cooked on a plate. "I call dibs on the food AJ cooked!" Me and Suga stared at the same time, we stared at each other for a solid minute sending hateful glares as the war for the good food was on. "Why do you want my unnie's food? You made your own with Namjoon." I debated and he just sneered at me while staring at the droopy... pancakes? In front of him. "If I cook something then I don't feel like eating it after." He replied as the three who weren't arguing just stayed silent for a moment. AJ stood between the two of us and held out two plates of pancakes. "Look... I'll eat Suga's with Namjoon and Jungkook." She stated happily, I opened my mouth to object but she just smiled. "Are you sure? And what did I tell you about what you call me?" Suga asked and she just sighed before looking up at him. "Okay... yeah I'm fine with it Yoongi, I want to see how Namjoon has improved since the last time he cooked." Her smile never faltered and I was satisfied about getting to eat her food, it's been a while since she cooked for me because of having so little time and now I was excited.

We all started to eat and I constantly looked over at AJ to see if she had any signs of food poisoning from the poorly cooked food but she seemed fine, we all were. "So we noticed that there wasn't much to pack seems as you've not even unpacked some of your things. We can do that later if you want." Namjoon asked, me and AJ nodded when his phone went off. He answered it and left the room for a few minutes before he came back, he sat down as everyone waited for whatever he was going to say. "The boss said that we're all going to a water park for a vlog thing and that there's no excuses, it's like an insight to what you guys are like to be around seems as he thinks you'll have a lot of male fans. It's to show them how comfortable you are around males and other people." I stopped eating as AJ choked and patted her on her back, we both looked at each other knowingly when Jungkook started laughing. "You've got a bit of food on your face." He pointed at me before leaning across the table, he licked his thumb and ran it across my cheek near my lips before eating whatever it was that was on my cheek. They all instantly forgot about what AJ was choking about when I got lost in my dreamworld. AJ hasn't been to a water park since she was young and the last time we did she sat on the side. I remember asking her what was wrong and all she could tell me was that she forgot how to swim...
