Chapter Five: New Day, New Job

I woke up to a darkened room, my body felt stiff, Amanda had fell asleep on the settee. I stretched my arms above my head, then got up to go make myself some coffee and see what I could eat, my tummy was rumbling quite loudly.

After putting the kettle on to boil, I looked in the fridge-freezer, some nibbles from last night were in clear plastic containers, I took a few out to inspect their contents and decided on a few chicken drumsticks, coleslaw and some french bread, placing two plates on the counter top I dished out the food and carried both plates back to the living room.

I placed the plates on the coffee table and gently shook Amanda's shoulder, she stirred but didn't wake up immediately, so I shook her again, this time she opened her eyes, I smiled down at her and told her I had food for her, sitting up she thanked me and reached for a plate, I went back to the kitchen to make the coffee.

We sat in silence for a while, still feeling awkward about the earlier events, I couldn't take it anymore so blurted out " Who's your friend?" Amanda was shocked at my question, she now knows I saw her and her friend together. "Ermmmm, that was Karen, I met her last night, she called round this morning" "So she thinks you live here?" I asked. "Well, Yeah, I was with Frazer last night, so I gave her this address to meet me this morning, you don't mind do you?" I laughed out loud, "Mind! Of course I don't mind, you guys gave me a fantastic show, I should thank you" at which we both laughed.

Now that awkwardness was over I wanted to ask Amanda a few questions. "Are you gay Manda?" "No, I just like a little girl action now and then, Karen was really up for it, so I obliged" she smiled at me, giving me a wink, I couldn't help but laugh at her, she was outrageous. "Did you sleep with this Frazer fellow too?" I asked, she nodded her head, giving me a sheepish look, I just shake my head at her, only Amanda could get away with it I thought to myself.

Later that evening we ordered a takeaway, I just couldn't muster up the needed energy to cook and Amanda simply couldn't cook, so Chinese was our chosen meal.

I kept thinking how I need to organise my clothes for tomorrow, I want to look good for my first day at work, so we both walked to my bedroom after finishing our food.

Amanda was looking through my suitcase, I still hadn't put my clothes in my closet yet, she picked up a few tops, looked at them and discarded them until she spotted my new outfit hanging up behind the door, she quickly grabbed the clothes from the hook and flung them on the bed, inspecting the blouse and skirt, she gave an approving nod and asked me to try them on, I sighed but obliged.

standing in my new outfit, Amanda gave me the thumbs up, I giggled at her as I started to remove the clothes, I wrapped my housecoat around myself and sat on the bed. It was getting late, I wanted to have a hot relaxing bath, my tummy was full, I was sated, I just needed to tire myself out so I could sleep through the night, Amanda let out a huge yawn, she hugged me and said she'd call me tomorrow to see how I got on, I walked with her to the front door and locked myself in for the night.

Reading was making my eyes tired but my mind was still too active to sleep, laying on my back I recalled the events of today, firstly Kai; he was my first and I am deeply thankful that he was so sweet, I do like him but I am not committing myself solely to one guy, he doesn't need to know that just yet though. Then my mind wandered to Amanda and Karen, Boy was that scene hot, no wonder I had another orgasm, just thinking about it again was making me all hot and flustered, stop Lily, you need to sleep, think of something else I reprimanded myself.

I hope tomorrow is a good day, I'm looking forward to meeting new people, I just need to remember not to be shy, act like I am a confident adult, I feel myself drifting off to sleep with those thoughts in my head.
