Bloom // Yugyeom x Reader Soulmate AU

Y/N didn't let go of Minho's hand. She clutched it tightly in hopes being close to her brothers soulmate would draw him out. She hoped he'd appear from around the corner, unscathed, but she knew deep down that that wouldn't happen.

The three traced the way to Minho's house, slowly and checking every empty space and every side alley.

Minho was crying by the time they had reached his house, having not seen any sign of Jisung.

"What now?" He sniffled and leant on Y/N who was close to tears as Yugyeom appeared behind them. Minho walked to the door and let them inside.

"My parents will have left for work not long ago." He explained and headed to the kitchen to make the trio some coffee after they search. Yugyeom entered the front room, looking at the photos of Minho and his family over the years.

"What am I going to do? He's all I have. My own parents don't even exist to me anymore." Y/N put her head in her hands and Yugyeom crouched in front of her and moved her hands.

"We WILL find him okay? I promise." Yugyeom kissed the tip of her nose and smiled. Y/N sat up and smiled back before kissing him sweetly. Suddenly, a loud crash sounded from the kitchen and Yugyeom and Y/N shot up.

Minho came running into the room, coffee all over him, looking panicked.

"I know where he is."

The two elder followed slowly behind Minho who was leading the way through forest behind his house.

"My parents are religious. They would disown me if they found out my soulmate was male. I tell him to use this path when they're at home." Minho rushed ahead and the others struggled to keep up with him.

They waded through tall grass and thick shrubbery. Slowly, the sky began to darken and Y/N pulled out the flashlight on her phone to help light the way. Again, the three inspected any possible area they could to find the poor boy.

The ground began to feel thicker, and more muggy. Yugyeom held Y/N's hand and squeezed to reassure her just as Minho gasped. They had come to a small river running through the forest path and, on the other side of it, was a small boy laying unconscious.

"Jisung!" Y/N screamed and ran through the river, followed closely by Minho and then Yugyeom.

Minho knelt by his side and stroked the hair out of his face. Y/N checked his pulse. She put her fingers to his wrist, and then his neck only to panic.

"I can't feel anything." She looked at Minho, wide eyed and terrified.

Minho put his head down to Jisung's face and breathed a small sigh of relief.

"He's breathing but it's not strong." He picked up his boyfriend's hand and kissed it. Next to Jisung lay a small, destroyed bouquet of flowers and Minho shed a tear knowing they were for him. He stroked his face again.

"What happened to you? Why won't you wake up?" Minho cried into the unconscious boy's chest. Suddenly Yugyeom pulled Jisung up and hauled him onto his back.

"We have to go. Now." Yugyeom started walking out of the forest with Jisung on his back and the others followed behind, making sure Jisung wouldn't fall or awaken.

The walk out seemed longer but when they made it to Minho's house they lay him on the couch and covered him in a blanket before calling 911. The ambulance arrived fairly quickly and they hauled Jisung into it, giving him oxygen and testing his blood pressure.

Everyone was terrified for him; they had no idea how long he'd been there, unconscious. They had no idea what was wrong with him either. Well, no-one knew exactly but Y/N had a hunch.

When the ambulance arrived, the paramedics came immediately and took Jisung before Y/N could say anything. Yugyeom, Y/N and Minho waited outside his room, scared of the news they may receive. They treated his case as serious and they weren't sure if they wanted to know what had happened.

Y/N cracked and bent her fingers, anxious when a doctor appeared from the room with a clipboard.

"If you want to see him now you can. However, I'm afraid I have some bad news."

Y/N's heart dropped as she stood to her her brother. He lay, looking peaceful in his bed and Minho went to hold his hand. Yugyeom stayed by Y/N and comforted her as she looked at her brother just sleeping. She turned to the doctor,

"What is it?"

okay so im real sorry but ive just been so unmotivated to continue this story? i will edit it and continue at some point but rn im just having a low period and just can't write. i hope you understand.
