Ortensia: (She woke up in her messy bed, hair in knots, drool coming from her beak. She yawned and stretched getting up from her bed, grabbing her glasses as she did. She walked out of her room and into the kitchen where a note was left by her brother, "Dear Sister, I was running late to a meeting with Mr. McDuck today because of your annoying T.V last night. You are no longer allowed to watch Darkwing Duck while you are trying to sleep. You will have to walk to the mansion today because of this. Your fault, not mine. Sincerely, Your Brother")
Ortensia: (She sighed in annoyance, making a strand of her brown hair that was once in her face go the other direction. She placed the note back down on the table and walked back into her room. She started getting dressed putting on her usual clothes, a purple long sleeved sweater, blue jeans, brown boots, her mood ring, a moon necklace, her silver star "ear" rings, and a grey headband. She looked in the mirror, at least tried to. She was 5 foot at 15 years old so looking in her mirror was a struggle. She brushed out the knots in her hair and combed her white feathers. When she was ready she grabbed her satchel and made her way out of her house.)
Ortensia: (Before she even started walking she heard the sound of screeching tires come her way. Her eyes widened when she saw a familiar limo race towards her. It "parked" right in front of her. The window rolled down and she saw Launch Pad, the driver for Scrooge McDuck.)
Launch Pad: Hey Ori! Need a lift? (He smiled.)
Ortensia: (She smiled back.) Sure! Thanks Launch Pad! (She opened the door and got into the limo, putting her seat belt on plus one other just to be safe. Knowing how Launch Pad drives she was gonna need it.)
(They started speeding down the road, passing cars and trucks on their way. Ortensia hung onto her seat, making sure she wouldn't fall out of the car. She gulped when she realized he was driving on The side walk.)
Ortensia: L-Launch Pad? Couldn't we go... j-just a little slowERRRRRR! (They started stiring out of control until they stopped and was now in front of McDuck Manor) Oh my... (She shook her head and got out of the limo. She was in a daze. Even though the buff duck almost killed her she was kind to him none the less)
Ortensia: Th-Thank you L-Launch Pad. (She smiled)
Launch Pad: No problem Ori!
Ortensia: (She sighed and opened the door to mansion. She went towards the elevator leading to her brothers lab. When she got to the lab she thought she would see her brother but he wasn't there) I guess his meeting took longer than expected.
(Ortensia set her satchel down on her brothers desk. She opened it and pulled out a book. She sat down in her brothers chair and started writing in it.)
Fenton: (He came through the elevator with a smile on his face) Good morning Dr. Gearloose! (He looked around and saw no one. He looked up at Gyros desk and saw his sister) Oh! Salutations Miss. Gearloose!
Ortensia: (She looked up from her book and smiled) Hi Fenton!
Fenton: (He laughed nervously) Where's your brother?
Ortensia: (She sighs) He's at a meeting with Mr. McDuck. I had to get a ride with Launch Pad to get here.
Fenton: (He walks up the stairs) Oh? Haha are you ok then?
Ortensia: Still a little dizzy but other then that I'm fine.
Fenton: (He places his stuff beside Ori's and stands beside her) You know... y-you should really get these stories published!
Ortensia: (She looked down at her book) Pfft what? No no no! I'm pretty sure no one would want to read random research on some super hero! B-Besides Gyro doesn't want me to become a writer. He thinks I would be better as a doctor or something.
