*Cough Cough* Excuse me, but I finally updated.. Please keep the rotting fruit with you, I would enjoy not being pelted with it. Anyway here it is...
*DRAMATIC MUSIC*
Hannah's P.O.V.
Three rounds of Marco-Polo and chicken fight and one warning from the manager later, Harry, Robbie, Alex, and I are really good friends. After we sat there in an awkward silence, Harry decided we should play 20 questions, but we played a weird version, since the guys knew each other they each got to ask me five questions and I got to ask each of them five questions.Turns out that they are from a small town a little over an hour away from my house. Alex and Harry are acting semi-normal, no longer cocky, and I have found they are very tolerable. They are actually quite feminine. They had came here to celebrate Harry's break-up with their school's queen bee, similar to Jenny, who was apparently turning Harry into a Class-A jerk.
So we ended up just sitting on the side of the pool quizzing each other. "So... what brings you to Florida?" Robbie asked.
"Some family friends," I responded.
"So not a boyfriend?" Harry said, then quickly looked down at the water.
"No," I sighed, "Thankfully John is back home."
"So to clarify there is a boyfriend but you guys have hit a rough patch?" Alex asked.
"How-? W-wait.. What do you mean 'hit a rough patch'?" I questioned.
"The way you said, 'thankfully John is back home'," Alex quoted my statement, "made it seem like you weren't happy with him."
I knew I was going to end up having to tell someone so I jumped in. "Well, I guess I am a bit unhappy with him, but I think we've just grown apart. Do you know when I left he was mad because he was too lazy to get up early to say goodbye? My friend, who is more of a nerd like me, came to say goodbye so I had him pass the message to John, which got John mad. It's ridiculous!" I proceeded to tell them about John.
"So why do you put up with him?" Robbie questioned.
"I honestly don't know. He can be sweet" I say, "But, when he tries to pull stunts like when he had me up against the wall just so he could try to kiss me? That just ticks me off."
"I would dump him," they say in unison.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I would just take a break from guys and start over." Harry sighed, "That's what I did after my last girlfriend. She was pretty much a female version of John. Now I have a great group of guys to hang with instead of a bunch of snotty cheerleaders." (A/N: I have nothing against cheerleaders, I am one.)
I was in shock. Finally I answered, "I wish it was that easy. I have no friends other than that other guy I told you about, Ben. I wish I could just go back and act like it was my first day of school again."
"Careful what you wish for. Last person I knew that said that got shipped over to China for the winter then sent to military school," Alex said, and for some reason he sounded serious. "You know I'm being serious, right?"
"Well yeah, why would you lie?" I said in a "duh" tone.
"Hannah Lynn York!" My mom said, bursting in the door. "Why are you here? Get out of that pool this instant! We aren't here to socialize. We are late, and Yorks are NEVER late."
I sighed at the way the guys looked between my mom and me. I hate her business side, but why now, why here?
