That next morning I ate the breakfast that my Grandma Miller had prepared for me speedy quick, because I had a mission, that is why.
"Woah girlie, slow down there." Grandma Miller said,
"But actually I can't because you see I have an important thing at school so I need to go early pretty please with carrots on top."
She stared at me for a real long time
"You take the bus Junie B"
"Yeah but actually today is the bus's birthday so he's actually taking the day off."
She gave me a strange look
"You're taking the bus"
I gave Grandma Miller squinty eyes and ran into my room.
"Shoot that was a good plan. I guess I'll just have to zoom speedy quick when I get to school."
I smiled at myself. Because I am very good at going speedy quick, that is why.
When the bus finally stopped at school I plowed over all the children and didn't even stop to tell Lucille and That Grace. This was ergent. I zoomed super speedy quick all the way to Janitors office. I'm not sure why his office just has cleaning supplies and no desk or computer. He is in need of an upgrade.
I glanced around, and as they would say in law and order, "the coast is clear." I reached for the vaccuum, but even when I pulled with all my might, it wouldnt budge,
"oh boy," I said, "this is a tad bit heavy." I slumped down to the ground. I didn't know what to do.
"ya know, its okay if That Meanie Jim is just a ghostie forever, I dont need to suck him up."
And with that, Junie 🅱️ Jones walked back to Room 9 and stayed there, with Mrs, Lucille, That Grace, Han, Paulie Allen Puffer, and That Ghostie Jim, forever.
