Frustrated and Unbothered

 He wasn't excited  but somehow he was looking forward to this day. He didn't want to stay with them. He hated every second of it. It was more than enough that he always criticized and hated himself, he didn't need someone else doing it again and again. It made him feel  even worse.

                   Yoongi was grateful that Namjoon had found him a roommate in such a short period of time. Of course Yoongi would never say that to Namjoon but he was sure that Joon knew he was extremely thankful. 

                    "This dead weight is finally leaving, huh? My life will be better now, though I will really miss my personal punching bag." Yoongi heard the hoarse voice of his step-dad. He felt a volcano erupt in his chest. He wanted to scream that he was even more happy leaving this place and being far away from a dickhead but he bit back his remark, he didn't need another drama while leaving. 

                     He heard his bedroom door open.

"Where will you go to?" his mom asked

"Somewhere"

"Yoongi, please don't make this hard, I would wanna know where you'll be, I will be worried-"

                    At these words Yoongi snapped. He scoffed out loud. 

"You? Worried about me? Out of all the things on earth? Cut the crap I know that you're just worried he will use you as a punching bag next. You maybe worry about many things but definitely not about me, I know how you are"

                  His mom shut up. Her eyes were wide, tears threatening to pour out but Yoongi didn't care, he had endured the drama for far too long. Even though it was just 11 am, he grabbed his few belongings and stormed out of hell-literally

                  It was pouring hard outside. He still had full two hours left to actually head towards his new flat. So Yoongi decided that he would just roam around, passing time. Yoongi was frustrated beyond words at the moment. It was unfair he thought, it seemed as if all the bad things happened only to him. He couldn't remember the last time he was truly happy.

            After walking around aimlessly for about one and a half hour, Yoongi slowly made his way to his new flat. He hadn't been there himself, Jimin had texted him the address before. The new flat was 15 minutes away from his university and 30 minutes away from his former flat.

              When Yoongi finally reached his new flat, he felt extremely nervous. He maintained his unbothered look as usual but deep down inside he was extremely anxious. Would things really go easy for him from now on? Was this really a new, fresh start he deserved? Pushing away all his doubts and nervousness for now, Yoongi pressed the door bell. He heard the footsteps of his new roommate approaching the door and when the front door opened, Yoongi  stopped breathing.

           His roommate was beyond cute. His warm, crescent shaped eyes, puffy, totally kissable lips, it made Yoongi feel things, he didn't know he could feel. The both of them kept staring at each other, each of them drinking the other's appearance. The staring contest continued for a while. Both the guys checking each other out shamelessly, that is until Yoongi snapped back to reality.

"May I come in?" Yoongi sighed internally that his tone remained monotonous and bored. 

" Ah- sorry h-hyung, come on in, I'm s-sorry"

The blush that crept on Jimin's face somehow made Yoongi feel proud that he was the reason behind it. Jimin's smooth, angel like voice, that ethereal beauty of his- snap out of it, Yoongi thought to himself.

              Yoongi really liked the new flat. His room was dark, just the way he wanted and the place was really quiet as well. He wasn't sure however, whether the silence made the place better or Jimin's presence. After getting the small tour of the flat, Yoongi asked Jimin about his job and when Jimin left, Yoongi started unpacking the few belongings he owned and after he finished he jumped to his bed quickly thinking about how he would live with a person so cute and attractive from now on.
